7s & 7s Plus will look exactly the same as last year model but with new chipset. No iphone 8? Too bad. That 7s duo will get a lot of attention. A bad kind of attention.

I would just find it funny if that was the announcement. "This year from apple something truly revolutionary...celebrating the 10th anniversary of the iPhone..." *curtains dramatically rise....revealing a very well designed but ultimately empty pedestal*"...Nothing." Then everyone cheers wildly.

This is just a trick to us not to get hyped about it - more like a surprise thing. But I would love to be surprised, too

I don't know what's wrong with you guys believing all these things. every year the rumours come. "this year there will be a transparent iPhone". "this year they will skip a number. it will be iphone10". but Apple continues as they do every year

An anniversary iphone was always just a rumour. Everybody writes about it as if Apple had announced it. An anniversary iPhone is nothing more than wishful thinking from Apple fans. I guess iphone 8 will be released in autumn 2018. Apple won't try to fulfil any rumours.

iPhone 7S and 7S plus should be there as traditional.. but due to 10th anniversary, they should add up something like iPhone 8 or iPhone 10. I know this numbering trend will end up on iPhone 10 or something. Above iPhone 10, let's say iPhone 12 sounds stupid
