"all they're ever going to amount to is second-rate copycat company."
That's what people said years ago (you ain't new), laughing at how stupid the name Huawei, Xiaomi and Oppo sounds and that they will never make it to the international scene. Look at them now, wiping the floor with Sony, LG, HTC, Motorola, Nokia, Blackberry and whatever non china tech company that used to DOMINATE the market btw..

You hate them china companies yet you suck so hard on Oneplus's phallus which is owned by Oppo?

          Girl, you crazy.

So dear for your kind information Oneplus is a subsidary of Oppo. Thank you

what's funny about this whole thing is that huawei copies samsung flagships while oppo and vivo copy iphones. basically the reasons they're selling so well. samsung- and apple-like phones at half the price. and that's why i'm never going for any of those three chinese companies. all they're ever going to amount to is second-rate copycat company.

at least oneplus tries to be original.

AnonD-621147, 29 Apr 2017A pretty big lineup starting with the find 5 and finishing ... moreSo the features u counted, just as I knew, were individual. They make a phone for selfie, one for back camera (both with lower end chipsets for price,) one for big battery and one for slim. if you want all good things, you have to use their whole lineup, throughout the year lol. BTW u r smoking pretty good, and they sell phones coz of viral marketing.

Sony phones are not more optimized, how could they be. On a level play field hardware is most of everything and how much you saddle an OS with unecessary services (I'm looking at you Samsung) comes second.

Sony Phones for example are far slower than the Chinese phones that load their phones to the max.

Sony phones are well optimised and work very smooth even after three years. Sony phones last longer than any other crap. Samsung? Lol that laggy crap with many issues and high price? It is all about marketing not quality. Sony has weak marketing but high quality.

Looks like the growth is coming from emerging markets. Eventually, that too will taper off - when the tech evolution of phones taper off.

Great phones throughout the years. Every legit smartphone hardware maker offers decent products. Harder nowadays to make a Bad phone than a good phone and oppo plus Vivo make great phones. That's why they sell very well.

I've tried out almost every phones from those brands ( my coaching center is near a phone market, I frequently visit that place to look at new stuff). Sure, they are not bad. But for the price I pay, I can just get a year old flagship that has better software, camera, after sale service and software updates. Not to mention brands like Xiaomi and OnePlus exist. They are much better value for your money in every way. Claiming otherwise is nothing but foolish. And I'm not hating on Chinese phones in general (should be obvious by now), I use a Xiaomi myself. Maybe you should use some proper phones first before talking.

It's like they don't care. I honestly don't know how they got their fanboys. For example Samsung did by loading their phones (they don't anymore but that's another issue), Apple did by inventing the modern smartphones, Motorola, Nokia and Ericson by heading the dumb phone revolution ... but Sony?

They are like an outlier I never understood the support they get, they're neither first in hardware (Samsung used to be, now it's the Chinese) nor in software (Google and Apple there)
