I think it is more of a reflection of Chinese more wanting to support local brands and obviously great bang for the buck. The majority of people finally realise they don't need to spend their 2-months salary for an iPhone.

AnonD-621147, 28 Apr 2017Every oppo and Vivo phone I've ever owned all sported snapd... moreya ya ya they have 2 devices like that ... but the thing is that other phones made by same company are just overpriced crap... they base their marketing on selfie cameras and i can agree that some ppl dont need performance but dude their camera is best only on paper... i think that if xiaomi go with global sale including india us and my europe they gonna crush oppo and vivo and i can bet that iphone and sammy (i dont like them but im not hater im an LG fanboy but LG batteries? ahhh true story is that i dont know why im still loyal to LG ) so for me and my opinion is oppo and vivo are just overpriced except Xplay series but Xplay is hard to get even on their markets otutside (like in seribia where i come from ) its impossible to get ... Not even in germany where i try to get one just to have xp with it to see if it's worth... for me only Xplay is worth one but also on paper couse i didnt touch the phone myself

If the price will give you the flagship phones then I might as well go with Samsung or Huawei instead. [deleted post]In India, people mostly tend to buy phones from offline stores. That's because of service and warranty-related issues which might arise overtime, so that we can directly approach the seller. Btw the premium phones from samsung and apple are mostly priced about 40% more than US prices, nothing to do with 'tech-savviness'. Maybe you'll see some jump after a year when iPhones will be made in India and priced at par with US. I personally haven't spotted anyone having Oppo and Vivo.

Here's how, what I was saying in the January of this year, begins to take shape in front of you. THE TRUTH he's trying to hide Samsung, Apple ... etc...he can not keep quiet for a long time. A lot of people, unlike us, dont really care about speed or battery life as long as they can take good selfies :( And i believe thats the winning recipe of oppo and vivo

Although I found that fun touch OS ran more smoothly and offered better experience, the mate had a better build quality and looked beautiful.

Less than an hour and 20 from 0 to 100. Quality build using metal frames. No plastic on those babies. Either 1080p or 2k super amoled, curved or not curved. 4 to 6 GB ram with buttery Smooth OS. Are you sure that we are talking about the same companies?

Oppo and Vivo on the list is..... Sad..... To be honest. We need more smartphone knowledge awareness. They sell helio p10 for CNY 2600, or sell midrangers with 2500mah batteries in 2016. Actually it's xiaomi's equal fault. Make your phones available xiaomi! What are you doing. Only company continuously backing small form factor and big batteries.
