So HMD Global develops and markets NOKIA phones and manufacturing and distribution is outsourced to Foxconn's FIH mobile which is Taiwanese company. This is why NOKIA 6 was released to China in January this year. I don't have any plan to spread false information but this is reality of NOKIA.
Also, NOKIA's brand name is very powerful in China. They released their phones of China version first so that they can develope other series continuously such as 6, 8, 9.

Nokia have licensed it to a company who are also in Finland and is operated by former Nokia employees. I think you're just trying to fool people away from the new phones by saying this.

I understand NOKIA's position. NOKIA has been damaged too much by Windows phones and retired from all over the world. Even they lent their name to China and get capital from them. I think NOKIA doesn't have capability to support many countries for their new developed phones. And the release date is getting late because of lack of development workforce. But I believe this new series will bring them much profits because there are so many people who are waiting for latest android NOKIA phones with stylish design. Therefore NOKIA should not be afraid to go back to the world market again.

Nokia, do u really don't want have your indian customer anymore. It seems according to your smartphone launching stretagy. Beacuse many of indian nokia fans have been waiting for nokia hands on for last two year. But still there is not any clearuficatuon about it.😔

Its the same for the design staff with the HND chief designer being the former Nokia chief designer. The headquarters of HMD is on the same street as the NOKIA HQ and is in fact next door. Oh and Nokia have oversight over anything that is produced by HMD.

People will buy them like hot cookies and they are right. In a world where innovations (since the lack of nokia phones) has gone straight to nothing but RAM and cpu: Nobody even bothered to do something with that crappy battery life…their is a much need of a company like Nokia, to settle down the "after money runners" who started to "innovate" so much nothing that the only new futures their phones have is more speed and exploding batteries.

If they release those phones now and if people face some problems there is no options to service it. And these people will start to talk about service center. So please be patient this is only a beginning just wait for next 2years nokia will be real nokia with all its glory.

I am completely irated with this. Why are they delaying the launch even S8 is in the market which was launched months later. Why are they not launching in May? Till that time there will be many smartphones in the market which will be better option in comparison to this Phones. I am a Nokia fan and waiting for their comeback from past few years. They are forcing me to purchase Sony Xperia XA1 with pathetic Mediatek chipset. :(

So just because it has Nokia logo we have to use SD430 in June or July 2017??? And there is no news about releasing in India . really not a good comeback from Nokia. Its better to wait for successor of Nokia 6
