Stop it guys, Nokia phones are getting delayed because they are preparing up for after sale services and care centers. What if they launch now and you face any issue ? Where would you go to get it repaired ?
This is the first release so they need some time. This won't happen with next batch of phones. Service centers, online and offline retailers, NOKIA exclusive stores etc are the main cause of delay which is just applicable for the first batch to release.

I needed to change my phone so badly. I couldnt wait for Nokia anymore, I had to purchase the LG G5. It was just $360 Canadian dollar from koodo today.
Nokia better act fast before they lose all of their would be buyers. Though LG virtual keys suck.

When the phones were first announced at the end of Feb we were told that they would be available during qtr 2, which they will be. So whats the big dea?, nothing has changed from the first announcement.

and on top of that they are doing a global launch .. They need volume in huge numberssssss....
nokia 6 in china received such a big response .. they are preparing inventory for whole world.. i am sure if they were only releasing in 1 or 2 countries it would have come much sooner ..
Then they also have to set up service centres in multiple countries .. provide extra spare parts for them .. releasing it 1 month later is much better than releasing it 1 month early and having only a few hundred thousands of units on sale ..

WTF! Only in UK?? How about some countries in Asia?? A lot of my colleagues and relatives are waiting for this because they are stuck of using iPhones and galaxies

Plus with the state of smartphone progress new models with similar/better specs are always coming out that will take away sales. The good thing is that the price is really competitive for a well designed phone which might keep people waiting. I was ready to buy in May.
I have a feeling the delay is due to the production time as the machining of the aluminium block takes time. ....great for quality.....not so good for building stock numbers.
This means that the Nokia 7/8/9 are even further away.

Nokia! What are you doing? To release 4 low-end handsets, 6 months after announcing their arrival is, frankly, mind blowing. The hype and interest that HMD created is losing momentum and I, amongst others am bored of waiting.
I almost feel sorry for them. I anticipated a quick turn around for the new 'Nokia' however it seems they are not capable. I wonder if production/numbers is an issue? It has to be something like that because I cannot understand this exercise otherwise.

Next year probably. They will introduce phone ( the flagship) in September but it will available next year (February lol). Thats the truth.. Greetings

This is so frustrating. Why can't after you revealed it, sell it one month after that. But it's already passed 3 months. Other company release their phone only after a few weeks after revealed. Somehow sound like Nokia is really can't be trusted.

That's at least 3 months after MWC and that takes too long. Come on HMD release the phones faster, before the hype is over again and people rather wait for a high end Nokia 9.
