We are told not an i... moreactually the random restarts might be only thing that can be defended..every phone makes restarts...obviously not so frequently..hehe..but they do..i have an ipad pro that sneakily restarts and any typed data on it is lost, i had an xperia z1 that did the same too....there are options in android to allow the phone to restart if it feels that the phone is becoming slow...i think the phone is having some OCD...if i remember, the op3 had a function of aggressively killing off apps in the background even with 6gb of ram..now red tint and wireless chargning issues should not have been there....now that everything is out of the way whats your opinion on nougat?? just nougat?? worst update ever of what? even nexus and other google devices are having issues with that

Samsung treats us same no matter how expensive a phone is. Apple is the best in terms of long-term support. I know a friend who has iphone 4 since 2010 he payed 700 euros and still today ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEM(even the battery hasn't been changed!) . I hate apple because of their old-fashioned phone but at least the quality is no.1. Samsung PLEASE make at least a phone that can pass 2 years without shitty updates.

Problem no 4. strikes.
1. Red tint. We are told not an issue and some even suggest it looks nice!
2. Wireless charging issue with S7 charging pad. We are told it is not an issue despite 3rd party ones work OK. Just but one for the S8 we are told although there should really be no difference as they both use the sane standard.
3 DQA issues in the US. We are told it is not an issue. Despite the fact is causes errors to flag up on the screeen repeatedly from what I undestand.
4. Now we get devices randomly rebooting. I suppsoe the fan boys will now tell us that isn't an issue either!? Nver mind that emergency call you were making that you lost as a result!
I am actually very keen to get the S8+ but am very dubious right now. How can I possibly consider using a phone that might randomly reboot in the middle of a call without warning? Defend that one fan boys!

AnonD-491921, 29 Apr 2017Mobile HDR certification is not as strict as Fully fledged ... moreWell that might be so, but even then the minimum specifications between both HDR10 and Dolby Vision are quite similar.

Anonymous, 29 Apr 2017Sorry. Screen is no contest in favor of samsung in daily us... moreYeah well, that depends on preference and is debatable. From a technical standpoint, both the LG and Samsung displays are quite remarkable and that doesnt change the fact that both sport different technologies, but both of them were developed by either LG or Samsung display departments for different product lineups, namely the QLED or OLED technologies. Its not like either display colour calibration is on a professional workflow orientation, one is just more vibrant while the other more toned down and close to realistic life scenarios. Both smartphones with minimum HDR certifications by either Dolby or the HDR alliance, should achieve 1000 nits when viewing content on both and cover the DCI-P3 colour space in the least. That and one is flat while the other is curved. Personal preference is really the difference.

Anonymous, 29 Apr 2017Because the phone is much much more expensive than the rest... moreSo, expensive phone not allow to have a single flaw? That is bullshit. Your expectation is too high. In a couple of years this S8 will be dirt cheap and outdated; so is that the time it is finally allowed to have flaw?

Anonymous, 29 Apr 2017S7 edge can't handle games?? LolSome games are so badly optimized for android, they won't work well even on flagship specs with 1080p displays. Many new games are also not getting joystick support.sad but true.My mad catz ctrlr is now almost useless and collecting dust.Nowadays all are pay to win,i have no problem with that, but free players are too easy to play against.Sad but true

OnePlus 3T is far better than this shit !!
OnePlus comes out with several stages of quality testing which u can check out in YouTube as well. Unlike this shitty Samsung which comes out with hang, lagging, auto reboot, even explosive out of the box , and lot more. LoL

AllHailSony, 29 Apr 2017That's not the issue here We're already in an era where hi... moreyeah and you are getting your money's worth with the s8/s8+. and if you're not, then go complain and get a new unit. it's the same for every manufacturer. you can't guarantee that all units will be free from defects. it's just laughable that when it comes to samsung, everyone becomes so anal over the smallest flaw.

Come on! Other smartphone companies like Sony, LG, HTC, Huawei, Xiaomi etc don't have these kind of problems, onlu minor. Only Samsung these few years their phones started to have this kind of problem. Really? Not gonna buy Galaxy S8 after hearing all of these problems, nuisance
