Anonymous, 29 Apr 2017Dude, i thought the same but after a quick google search it... moreWould a random restart have been better for you than a regular restart? That restart is to cool down the hardware.

Anonymous, 29 Apr 2017i used to have s7edge but s7edge cant handle games. now this? S7 handles unreal engine 4 games like a charm, so I don't see your point? Maybe you had sd version? The battery is a whole other story tho. S7 was my last Sammy and I'm not going back unless they bring something unique with a great battery and flat screen.

Polius, 29 Apr 2017Yup. Everyone is so nit-picky on every single flaw it have.... moreBecause the phone is much much more expensive than the rest. We know that the S8 is basically just a new design but yet is the most expensive phone ever by Samsung. If Samsung wants to have apple prices then they should be prepared to get the same abuse and returns and exchanges. This phone is supposed to be premium and many buyers are apple users who switched and for these users these problems are unacceptable

Anonymous, 29 Apr 2017Nooe your right don't buy an ip*one, but the internet compl... moreLMAO...You made my day... Facts hurts isn't it? Ain't no crapple guy...I would not buy an apple anyday.. It is a primitive phone which doesn't offer Bluetooth, monopoly of itunes to sync and transfer contents, No NFC, No decent battery...lol...Talking about the S8+ costs about 1259$.. I am not dumb to spend my hard earned money on a device/company that surprise us with a loop of various defects. Quality control and validation is all about that. Going for a post market surveillance and recall is not okay every time. It it is all about learning from their mistakes. Every single unit should pass quality checks. As somebody mentioned in the thread that it is highly impossible and for those who buy those lemons, he had to say, well suck on it.. Haha typical corporate mentality..You gotta verify those comments first to know who are they in favor of actually. Some made comparisons with bugatti's, lamborghini's and offroad trucks...lol.. I wouldn't buy a S8+ just because I don't want to spend my money on the device that claim to have some minor defects, but apart from its physical appearance. There is something I just don't like. Talking about specs, The phone has got an amazing camera? YES , The phone has got VR? YES, The phone display is QHD and awesome? YES..and phone does offer a lot of other features. You need to have a decent battery to enjoy all these features without interruption. The 3500mah battery is simply not enough for VR with 4k resolution, It is not enough when you go for a mixed days usage of GPS, youtube and gaming...The SD835 claiming to be energy efficient is not really true...The phone does suck up a lot of juice. The benchmark scores are there. Go find it... Now to the ones who say, go keep a portable battery charger..Sorry, I hate to carry.. When a smartphone offer a ton of features, the least they can do is to offer a decent battery life. This is one of their selling strategy. Non removable batteries and poor repairaibility to tag along... Don't care the issues much? Still love samsung and apple and you up for all praise..Well, Go for it, follow the herd...

[deleted post]Dude, i thought the same but after a quick google search it's not just the random occasional restart. The phone restarts every 15 minutes and sometimes even gets stuck in a restart bootloop. This is with both the previous and new update.

Imperator Neubaticus, 29 Apr 2017Lol because it's samsung, people are so bloodlusted to find... moreYup. Everyone is so nit-picky on every single flaw it have. I dont know what is more pathetic. The people who spread this issue or the media that make a big deal out of it. Why dont the one that received a perfectly good unit tell the whole world they got a good unit? Spread the good words. Only bad news like to spread like wild fire. You will see, after this restarting issue is solved another small issue, as small as dust, will spread again. -_-

My S8+ works perfect. No red tint, no random röstats. Nothing. Just pure awesome. Except the price ofc which was very high.

Another sign that the 900 EUR price is GROSSLY INFLATED.
a 900 EUR device CANNOT suffer from red tint, wireless charging, and random reboot problems.

We can like some products but we can never go away to the issues that these phones face, because in this world, we can't have such thing as "perfect for everyone".
We can't have a Lamborghini sports car to go offroad, and we can't have a monster truck defeat a Ferrari in speed racing

The keyword here is "some." How many among the 2 million S8 users so far have this problem?
