A, 04 Apr 2011I find the likelihood of you lying much higher than that of... morebelieve what you want to, the small scale mechanical parts in the n8's shutter mechanism jam and jam frequently, that and the software becoming trapped in an unrecoverable error, but if you think im lying im usre you will be able to disregard my experience with a casual though of this cant be true because i love nokia

I think this is a little too much, it's already April and the only new phone we know of so far is the E6. I don't know if other models are yet confirmed, but 40 phones in three quarters of a year? That means at least 5 phones a month!

i salute you nokia fanboys, your loyalty to a dying brand is admirable, if foolish . For you the worldstopped advancing andturning when nokia peaked, today android is the king tommorow might be a brand neqw thing, but for certain nokia will never reclaim its lost glory and top dog status whilst carrying the Albatross anchor that is symbian. Symbian was a fine os FOR ITS TIME, its time has passed the world has moved on and left it behind

Apparently, nearly all Nokia models have factory defects. Model E52 is one of the most perishable phones.

Maybe, one day at a distant future, where my teeth have long gone, my bones fragil and hair white like the moon, I will see free choices of Hardware and Software from all Manufactures.

Would be nice to buy an Iphone 10 and use Android on it or a HTC with iOS. But...

That´s the only reason that today I get along with Android devices, it is the closest to the free choice that I will ever achieve.

Anonymous, 04 Apr 2011so whats that theyre releasing then, 39 attempts at a phone... moreI find the likelihood of you lying much higher than that of the N8 shutter jamming.

                  From www.Mobile-review.com

"Within 4 months Nokia C7 lost almost a half of its price. No other Nokia model showed similar price fluctuations in the past. Nokia N8 can also be mentioned in the following context, though it shed 30% of the price during the same period. You can buy the model for €340 now.
What conclusions can we make? The first one means that the end of Symbian will come sooner rather than later and sales already give a grim picture. Unfortunately, it leads to the second point. Nokia is not going to develop the platform they label dead. Symbian brings more losses than income at this stage. It is logical to discontinue the support of Symbian^3 by offering one update (so called firmware PR 2.0) and shut down all active work.

For example, in Russia Nokia is now associated with low quality and defect products.

Are you still eager to play the Russian roulette with Nokia? Go ahead if you are brave! "

so whats that theyre releasing then, 39 attempts at a phone and os, and then a single smartphone. TBH im not suprised there has been so many faults with the n8, we have plenty comeback each week for repairs or replacement with a different phone, many for the shuter on the camera jamming, guess they need to do more real life product testing rather then just having lab tests

I just wonder why has nokia not opted android ....... They would have once again topped the smart phones chart with android.
I think they will make droids when their wp7 project fails.
