Deducting 12 smartphones, I'm sure the remaining 28 devices are going to be dirt-cheap phones focused on the emerging markets... Lol. oh, and probably some symbian (still???) cr@p!!

Anonymous, 04 Apr 2011so whats that theyre releasing then, 39 attempts at a phone... moreAgree N8 & C7 have many problems, although things are a little better than they were with the first batches.

If you get one of these make sure you make regular back ups as you never know when you might randomly lose all your data.

With people today carrying around so much of their lives on smartphone's it's crucial to keep back ups.

at least my nokia runs longer than 6 hours away from a charger, which is the most important feature for most phone users.
If you don't like Nokia, don't read the articles and make frivolous comments, simple - why troll?

You nokia kids can get angry and deny all you want doesn't change anything about the fact that nokia is losing.

Why all the hate on Nokia? I mean nokia is the gsm that 99 percent of us grow up with. I think what nokia phones need is android software or why not work with apple on their exclu. smartphones. Win.mobile does not fit.

At least you have some reasons for moving for other OS and is not simply like these mindless haters that only think that Symbian is a crap because Gizmodo said so.

Symbian has always been the most complete OS for many years. I have been a Nokia user for a while. but for the past 3 years I moved on to iOS and now Android. Yes Symbian can do most things iOS and Android are doing, but it is just more fluid and prettier on the new OS's. Eye candy and ease of use is key. If Nokia can just accept changes, and change the Symbian UI maybe they can regain some market share. No Comment on the Windows Mobile 7 deal since I haven't worked with one yet. But it doesn't look that appealing.

Nokia can sell 400 new phone models, and it won't make a difference. They lost their edge, and they started to produce BAD quality phones. Just look at their TFT screens on low-budge phones = utter crap, totally unusable unless you look straight at it.
Nokia brings nothing new, and if they do announce something new, the competitors would have out-passed them twice, before they can even release it...cough N8.
