Anonymous, 03 May 2017You can use win32 apps. They just need to be repackaged to ... moreIf repackaging was a easy and inexpensive solution, you'd think most software would be on the store. All I find there is Office Mobile, Fresh Paint, Asphalt 8 Airborne and Forza Freemium.
Besides, sometimes it's just not convenient. Our software updates are roughly tested buy our IT department (and guess what? We just got IE11 and Firefox 43.2!) and since we have many hardware variations, mostly outdated Core 2 chips (we are slowly migrating over i5... 550) we can ensure maximum compatibility and less downtime due to bugs.
