Galaxy S Gingerbread update imminent, coming in weeks time

We know the Galaxy S is getting the official 2.3 version of Android (Gingerbread) some time this month. But the UK operator Three has confirmed the update for its customers is coming in the next two weeks...

Yep just got to wait for O2 to finish wrecking the update for its customers by making us wait three months longer then everyone else

      now samsung is working on SW updates thats pretty good :) now samsung has HW and SW. gonna use sammys phone now

        Anyone know what we should be expecting to see from 2.3?

          Older? Well I know technology sprints nowadays but it hasn't been a year since Galaxy S is out and it still is their flagship. I know Samsung (and actually many other) do not have a good reputation when it comes to upgrades but this is just the decent way to do business, it is not a courtesy.
