How about ear piece volume while in call and speaker voice loudness while in call, all Sony phones have low volume

Though I am not here to argue with you people, I will ask you to go through the same link for Shadow management thing. iphone clearly renders it better. Number 2, Corner softness that I have noticed in the pics of this article. Even though, the link you attached too has a little Softness to the corner. And Distortions are clearly an issue with those samples in this article.

1. Now I don't know who you are as a professional, but I am a professional filmmaker and a DOP so I have a knowledge of photography, based on this I said it.
2. Products I own from Sony. Earphones, Headphones, Smartphone, BraviaTV, Portable Harddisk, Speakers, Pendrives, Point and Shoot Camera, Xplode Car Audio system, Sony Amplifiers. So that makes me a Sony Fan.

Sony camera sensors are absolute first class, and the best was reserved just for the Xperia XZ Premium only. I'm counting down the days for it's release....

1. The shadows are sufficiently bright enough.
2. and 3. No problem with corner softness or distortion at the corners. You need to get your eyes examined.

Look at all the pictures, but if you wanna check for "corner softness" look at these:
Pictures 1 & 2 [Trees, in bottom-left, extreme left and right of the mountain/hills]
Pictures 7 & 8 [Mountain/hills in top-left, dock in bottom-right]
Pictures 15 & 16 [Rocks in bottom-right]
Pictures 31 & 32 [Details in trees at the top corners]
Stop spewing your bulls*hit and trying to talk down the camera. It's one of the, if not THE best smartphone camera at the moment, if you don't like it, you can always downgrade to another phone camera. ;P

As far as Sony is concerned you can closely predict gsmarena's review. Looks and build quality great, display and battery good enough but not up to current years flagship standards, performance is not there in the top but you won't find anything to complain, software is good but leaves something to be desired, camera is good but typical Sony samples with slight noise, soft corners, extra sharpening etc, conclusion: it's a beautiful and sturdy device which doesn't offer that much value for money but fans will love it.

xperia xz premium and galaxy s8 are the best phones on the market at this days .. lovely phones both on their ways separately . xperia xz design is future proof and classic and luxury and s8 has the modern and different design . I love these

As far as the camera goes just give us as many as samples as you can and leave the judgement to us. Almost everyone uses pics and vids for social networking sites. As far as it looks great on my cellphone I don't care about some extra sharpening, extra saturation, soft corners etc etc bullshitt.

not a good looking phone.. But i envy Sony´s very optimised and troublefree OS. One of the best sufficient and most stable Androids u can find.
