AnonD-510098, 10 May 2017Nothing impressive. Most were given away free with the S7. ... moreIt will grow from $4.9B to $37.7B in three years. Sure, dude.. gimmick. LOL

In fairness, it isn't that amazing. I think of VR as dreaming back in the 1990's. It basically is just a 360 camera experience that irritates my eyes.

Yup, got mine for free. It basically is a wearable from footage shot with a 360 camera. Don't knock it until you try it. Generally terrible experience taking so long to download. It can flicker too. But p0rn in a VR home or movie theater is pretty cool with it along with whatever TV show and movie you want to watch. I saw the Season 7 finale of The Walking Dead using it.

VR is a gimmick and isnt consumer driven.

All this money is put in by the big companies to try and make it happen but it will be a flop.

So Samsung is like Apple. Apple included the Apple Watch in the "wearables" category so the numbers looks big. Samsung makes it look like they sold a lot of Gear VR Units but instead gave most of them away.

Zenodroid, 10 May 2017Bs. 95% came along with a phone, so actually not sold. This. The sheer volume of orders of phone meant even if 1.5% of consumers pre ordered the phone or returned note 7 the number surpasses 7 lk easily

Bs. 95% came along with a phone, so actually not sold.
