Anonymous, 15 May 2017Don't you think an Iphone is overpriced considering its jus... moreIf the iphone is made in the USA the price of the Iphone would be much much higher, At first I am not a fan of outsourcing since products should be made in the country of origin were it was founded , so quality control can be done. But come to think of it Companies outsource their customer service and manufacturing would save them on labor and therefore be able to sell thier products on a much lower price. Companies can put funds in research and development therefore improving their products. Remember how much the first celphone cost when it first came out it was too high due to parts and labor were expensive. So there is good to outsourcing even thoough I am not a fan of it.

It's just like buying cheap clothes for charity the only difference is Apple won't help anyone with that money. Wait? Maybe they will if you buy iPhone red

alnherco, 12 May 2017Ohh god can you imagine what would be an a11 octacore?!?! B... moreYou are quite the noob. Apples A10 already packs more transistor than any other ARM design on 16-14nm so it would be impossible for Apple to create an 8 core mobile A11.
A CPU like that would be too inefficient even for tablets.
It's all about the transistor budget and how different OEMs decide to spend it. For example what's more important is the way the apps actually run and feel on your phone than the fact that they open 2-3 seconds faster. Also the most common apps like social apps, system apps and so on don't open faster on iphone's and these are the apps people use more often.

alnherco, 12 May 2017Ohh god can you imagine what would be an a11 octacore?!?! B... morenah. A10=Snapdragon835=Exynos8895 in this time. (when it comes to raw prowess in AnTuTu. the sum of the score in this test is ROUGHLY the same. which kicks in at around 175k points) I believe the A11 would rest around 220k points.

alnherco, 12 May 2017Ohh god can you imagine what would be an a11 octacore?!?! B... moreWell, you can't have your cake and eat it too :) A single A10 cores is much more powerful the the competition but it is also huge (physical) in comparison. If they would go down that same road as the other ARM designers, adding alot more cores, they would also have to make them much smaller and there by less powerful. Which in my opinion would be a bad decision judging by how the load on a mobile device usually looks like. I hope they stick to few but powerful cores.

AnonD-497816, 12 May 2017A11 it's not the first processor based on 10nm!!!!!that's true though. Exynos 8895 and snapdragon 835 uses it before. it's the first IPHONE that uses 10nm technology though. (and I'm an android user.)
