I know there's a lot of users want the iPad to be different from the iPhone's. But that doesn't change the fact that tablet sales are still declining. I'm pretty sure that forecast will fail to meet that expectation. Stay in your universe.

Anonymous, 16 May 2017IMO 3:2 is better than either. It's good both for reading (... moreYou may be right

I reckoned, if it keeps screen-width of current 9.7" model and just stretch the screen-height by 22.5mm(0.88inch),

...voila, it makes 3:2 aspect ratio, 10.5" screen.

Shellyman Vol.2, 16 May 2017The sales for this 10.5" iPad is going to be lackluster. No... moreTablets sell more than laptops in this world and will continue being the second most selling type of computer (after phones) for years.

It makes sense too, their form factor is incredibly useful for reading media watching. Probably the best one for those two.

BTW iPads sell around 50mil each year. That's about how many galaxy s phones are being sold each year.

You probably landed to the wrong planet again. Back to your planet...

The sales for this 10.5" iPad is going to be lackluster. Nobody barely buys tablets anymore.

I hope the 10.5 tablet would be 3:2 thus...

10.5 inch?! Ooh, that sounds tantalizingly similar to the 10.5" screen of the original Tab S. I hope the new iPad will have a 10.5" inch 16:10 QHD screen just like the Tab S.

Because what Apple does, other manufacturers will copy, & we can finally leave 4:3 tablet screens in history books!

Small tablets were always a bad idea. Big tablets are the equivalent of A5 books ... very useful for those who like to read or watch on the go...

I own many Apple products myself, I'm actually comfortable within Apple ecosystem. But I give less care towards iPads. I have the mini but that is already too big for me so I rarely use it. I don't like tablets. I don't find any use for them personally.
