I want to aware peoples that BADA doesn't support VOIP i.e no skype, no fring etc. In my opinion BADA is the worst of all OS for voip users.

If only samsung was a little aggresive to push bada interms of apps and availability region wise, Pretty sure they would have done well. Its a smartphone OS with great potential. But their their laid back attitude for bada and also their strategy to push the andriod line up more will only eventually slow bada in the future.

BADA is dead. I was a big supporter when I got my Wave phone awhile back. But after months of waiting still no skype or Whats App or proper google maps that work with the gps. It's a smartphone lacking the three most important apps which all other phones use!! I am so sick and tired of being around ppl with Apple's and blackberrys and not being able to use whats app. Even nokia have these. They also dont have angry birds. It's a pity as it had potential but i will be getting an iphone once the new one comes out or a android if the iphone takes too long. I know many ppl who will also not get another BADA phone.

AnonD-2543, 10 Apr 2011it's really your own fault, if you are still on bada 1.0...... morethe leaked one literally is everywhere. But 1.2 came lately to some areas. Specially in India 1.2 is very late.

AnonD-122, 11 Apr 2011Wow... 2.0... What a joke. History repeats itself and do yo... moreYou are right!! Its all over again what happened with Omnia HD, thanks for remind us that, double SHAME!! on samsung, those users are still waiting to have an update for Touchwiz 3.0 and there's a new one coming 4.0, poor people... and us that have the first wave we will suck our thumb waiting to have an update for Bada 2.0 , still have the hope for September but cant trust on samsung anymore... and as the other guy said, dude, you have 1.2 cause your are lucky or cause you risk in flashing your phone, sincerely to update from 1.0 to 1.2 is not worthy, since I've been told that have some issues, that's why I wait for 2.0 and... 2.0 would be global (according to samsung press release) , not just a few countries as samsung just did with 1.2

I think bada is a great OS. very light, powerful, and stable but I'm not sure how its gonna do against the more established os like android, apple, windows. blackberry and symbian is going down and dead..

AnonD-2543, 10 Apr 2011it's really your own fault, if you are still on bada 1.0...... moresome Wave S8500 owners have the S8500T version which uses UMTS850/2100 and their is no Bada 1.2 firmware that provides UMTS850 connectivity hence why those owners cant unofficially update to Bada 1.2.
Personally i have Bada 1.2 on my Wave S8500 and its good.

Wow... 2.0... What a joke. History repeats itself and do you all remember OmniaHD? Omnia still survives because of Open source software a.k.a Symbian. But i don't think Bada will benefit from that luxury either. The best thing samsung can do right now is to release the Bada source code and make it open and let the end users decide what to do with their freakin phones.

1.2 Will not release in india bcoz of two reason if u upgrade 1.2 u will miss the recording conversation and there is also problem in equilizer so it better to go directly 1.0 to 2.0 bcoz everyone has to pay for upgrade bcoz of only 1 year gurentee on any phone
