Nokia X7 is the best smart phone ever which has been produced in the cell phone history.. The impressive thing is it has all the main priorities which must be included in a smart phone..

the fact is, nokia crammed all those great useful features in the n8

and processors? does every manufacturer make its own? or do they buy them? nokia can easily put a 1ghz cpu, but dont see the need for it. a balance between battery life and performance is what they want. and the n8 cpu can be clocked to about 800mhz, which flies

Were we not talking about processors? Is Nokia the only manufacturer with excellent camera, FM transmitter, and HDMI?

AnonD-3575, 12 Apr 2011can you explain that? why do you need 1.2ghz everyday?Who said you need it? No one needs 1.2 GHz, let alone dual-core. In fact no one really needs a smartphone, as 80% who owns one just uses it for phone and text.

Everyone can benefit from more productivity the smartphone provides you with. Nokia is contributing to productivity of its device at much slower rate than competition. Thus its market share in smartphone market is dwindling.

Having said that, We're not at the point where we can say "mobile devices are powerful enough we should stop", obviously better hardware equipped Androids are flying off the shelf and people are showing more interest in latest tech than yesterday's technology. This shows that we're not coming to the saturation point where these devices are competing with user experience alone.

                        Symbian will not die!
In the near future NOKIA will have smartphones running on 3 different OS:
Symbian, Maemo and W7 or W8.
That's the way to please customers ...everyone gets what they like

That will be mistake. Do not spoil the good phones with such a teeny-lolly-pop. We like the Symbian and we always do.
Why spending more money for a crappy Android-device?
Android 1,5 - 1,6 - 2,0 - 2,1 - 2,2 - Yuppeee, we finally have a SD-card storage for programs, BUT ONLY after root. This is ridiculous. Google took your money, FANS, and it was for nothing. Who cares about DUAL CORE? It's not a playing console.

This is REALLY exciting news from Nokia, I'm a Nokia Smartphone user and had become somewhat disappointed with product offerings versus competetors and the need to upgrade to meet what is shared online via mobile phones ie. a new Flash Player. I thought after the partnership announcement with Microsoft & Windows Phone 7, "that's it" I was done with Nokia since I find Windows Phone 7 falls short of what I need.
The design of the X7 is gorgeous, from 1st appearances the new browser looks so sweet. I'll have my eyes peeled for some reviews and approximate times before we'll see it in the marketplace in my area. Hey Nokia, I knew you could still make something out of Symbian...keep it up!

AnonD-1082, 12 Apr 2011You're damn right buddy! Who needs Snapdragon, Tegra 2 or T... moreYou dont need the dual core 1ghz snapdragon?? Nor the nvidia tegra??? Then if you dont care about the specs you should buy a nokia n73, no you should actually buy a nokia 1100! What the hell is wrong with you people??
The new dual core 1ghz cpu actually consumes less power than a poor old slow snail 600mhz cpu!
Also even if it would have consumed more, let them bring stronger batteries to fix that! If the industry had your mentality and never upgraded anything because it would consume more battery than today we would all be stuck with brick phones!
