Anonymous, 18 May 2017I hope my J7 2016 get this update but Im still marshmallowYeah. Android Handset Makers seems to provide updates to flagships and leaves most other models to old version for a long time or permanently. This is a little frustrating that's why after 3 years of using android, i finally gave up and switched to iPhone and so far the experience is great. Since i got the device 1 month ago i already got 2 os updates.

Notification dots, wow innovation. This was for years on iOS. Android is a feature phone OS lacking basic fearures.

(Don't be attacked, I just speak how android fans speak to iOS users)

But mentioning windows phone in comparison feels like, "my Nokia 1100 boots up in 2 seconds and Android takes 50 second to boot".

AnonD-491575, 18 May 2017I thought I read somewhere about better audio.... less late... moreYeah, Android O has a low latency audio API that apps can use if they need it. It also ups the bitrate of Bluetooth audio (basically about 6x more, depending on the setting). As for the usual native playback, as far as I know it remains the same.
