AnonD-558092, 22 May 2017AMOLED + 3000mAh + 14nm chipset? Sounds like the Galaxy A5 ... moreJust, the A5 has a smaller display and exynos version is even more efficient.

Glad to know that Lenovo replied to that kind of tweet. 3000 mAh is better than 2820 mAh, but it's still a big downgrade from the 3510 mAh in the Moto Z Play.

Lenovo should use snapdragon 660 or 630

Never owned any Motorola phone, won't until they lose the ugly wide bezels but if I were interested in the Moto Play model I'd go for last year's version with the bigger battery. The upcoming one is a big step backward with its much smaller battery.

It will have the same or better screen on time. The battery may be smaller but you are missing two important things,
                        a. The processor is a little more efficient
                        b. Power management of Android O is far better than Android M

So, logically the phone should have big batteries in the beginning to support those mods. Yes, you can have the battery mods to extend battery but the thickness is ridiculous. I rather Moto add 1.5mm to 2mm thickness so I can enjoy decent battery duration than having an abomination or tumor stick at the back of my phone.

So, normal version was for best chipset + Norm battery,
Play version for midrange chipset + big battery
Force for best chipset + best battery.

Lenovomoto doing the same thing microsoftnokialumia did 3 years ago.
