Without Whatsapp support, WP7 will not get the support by consumer. Microsoft.. please open up ur ear and listen to what consumer wants. WP7 will be ahead of android if some key apps are developed.

Hmmm.. i just don't know, wp7 should make easier shorcut for apps. The homescreen is waste of space, should put shorcut for apps there.

              Needs the following...

Improve Text Selection, Cut, Copy/Paste - Bigger selection handles, magnifying glass, individual letter selection
              International keyboards(letters)
Free Maps Navigation - I guess it's pretty much on the way through Nokia's Ovi Maps
              Custom call, msg, email ringtones
              Music player equalizers
              DivX/XviD/MKV video support
USB mass storage support, i.e. using the phone as a flash drive
              Tethering support
Memory card slot, cards formatted in PC readable format.
              Video calls

Also can Multitasking apps be quit like with iOS and Symbian?

AnonD-1420, 14 Apr 2011as has already been said: at this point in its life cycle A... moreIt's also manufactured by more companies than Symbian, Bada, iOS, WebOS, MeeGo, etc which means it will be advertised more.

Microsoft learned a lot things, concepts, apps, Developers advantage and user interface that came from android phones.. In summary Android is miles ahead from MS. Android > MS..................... Symbian??? You still there????

as has already been said: at this point in its life cycle Android was also being (rightly) criticised for missing features.

It's only natural that MS will be playing catchup for a bit, just as Google did. Both companies are experienced and powerful software developers, but MS has taken the extra step of teaming up with Nokia. Also, MS has the advantage when it comes to PC connectivity: OS and Office integration in particular. On the other hand Google is an Internet superpower with a damn good head-start.

                    It's starting to get interesting...

Well maybe gsmarena should show that the phone he is using is an Asus. And looks like it has a front facing camera unless it's a proximity sensor. But it's been reported by Joe that there will be Skype for WP7. Maybe this Asus phone can be one of the first?

Anonymous, 13 Apr 2011Dont care really, I prefer android anydayCompeting is good. What if Android gets cocky like Symbian and iOS and stop improving for a while? :P
Android then will have to play catch up again, which they just got out of.

Funny how many iOS and Android fanboys there are, i dont prefer any OS they are all in the same race and they all win at the end of the day, not happy with that comment? make your own OS ;)

WOW those are really nice features. I really like the UI.

WP7 is just gathering ammunition to start the war against iOS and Android. They just need to offer more (different) phone. That's where Nokia comes in the picture :P. Looking forward to more improvements and the first Nokia running WP7 hehe.

Untill then my next phone will probably be the iphone 5 or one of the high end Android....

And this is how Android started out. It wasn't so long ago that we were laughing at Androids lack of functions.
