Just WOW, I've had 4 HTC phones over the years, I'm replacing my current Desire this month, but I'm so not going to get a HTC phone, talk about giving your customers the finger.
Guess I'll try an iPhone or the new Galaxy instead then, thanks for narrowing down the choice HTC. Talk about a terrible customer support, god I fell sorry for the people who bought the recent top of the line HTC HD, Incredible and Desire s :-S
So in 4 months the Sensation won't be getting the 3.1 SenseUI because only the brand new phones released then can "handle" it ? laughable, guess they just lost any credibility when xda guys can port it, but HTC gives their customers some BS story to mask a forced sale.

I think I read on other website's that they will only
Giving users some of the features of sense 3.0
The phones that they mentioned were the Desire S & Incredible S
I don't think it will be on the normal desire.

I bought the "Desire" in an attempt to see what all the hype was with htc and have to admit the device is mediocre at best.So it has sense UI, so it has Android Froyo, so it has a decent Cpu a lot of other phones have the same at much more reasonable prices.this is not a troll but htc are overpriced gadgets for the cogniscenti of device users. however they don't really deliver anything that other manufacturers do just as well. the one thing that really does annoy me about the device is the poor poor battery life no matter how you cloak it 6 hours for a device of the so called quality supposed is awful.

how pity...
it's been already ported to desire hd and desire will able to run it as well. just won' fit the screen.
they could make up some more realistic excuse. something like "it's been made for different resolutions"

Desire HD was only released six months ago and it WON'T be getting the UI update? Ouch!

HTC have really bad battery lives. Most people I know have to charge them every night. Also, I don't know a single HTC phone with a good camera.

as for this new Sense 3.0 its logical to not release them on the old models, because they want to sell the new models under the Sense 3.0
and the Sense 3.0 is the BEST interface i have ever seen.
And as for Nokia? you really choose Symbian (the worst and the most laggy OS ever made) over Android? lol you don't know what your talking about pal.

this is so... ugh, the most evil thing ive heard from htc. they shouldve atleast included the last batch of htc phones, to smoothen the transition of htc sense from old to new htc phones.. wtf,
no i dont want to root my phone, takes 100 steps to do it and very effin pain in the ass! and all you get is buggy unstable os..wtf.! unlike green poison.. just click this button and... tada! your iphone is jailbroken!
