Guessing threadripper will come in at $1000 for the 16 core. Should be an interesting battle, in the end the consumer wins a bit.

The Ryzen effect. But yet I find it overpriced. The Kabylake i5-i7 are comparable to Ryzens with a higher core count and similar price.
