3,040 mAh isn't bad for the size of the device, which is physically smaller than most "normal" flagships these days (8% smaller in volume than the 5" Pixel, for example). We all know what happens if you are too aggressive in packing electrolyte into a small space.

The problem with the design is the bottom bezel which is big enough and the camera cutout, makes it look very unclean. I think S8 came with the best solution for bezelness phones as both the borders are equally maintained on top and bottom which are so small to be called as bezels and the curved display eliminates side bezels already. It gives the true feel for a bezelness phone. It's like holding a phone as compact as S7 with magically bigger display. I didn't like the one big bezel solution from essential and mi mix tho both are insanely heavy.

It's even more gimmicky than i thought it would be.
Why doesn't anyone have the common sense to make a phone with small bezels and 16:9 aspect ratio? Guess i'm keeping my Xperia ZL for another year

Sharp looking phone. The front facing camera cutout is less of a nuisance than having to flip your phone like the Mi Mix. Not getting this phone, but maybe a future one if it performs well!

not my type of phone (i want some bezel), but this has many uniques.
I would love to see it action, see what it can do. As for the not scratch or bend drops, we heard these bulls before haven't we?

Droid, 30 May 2017as expected from android co founder. but hardware varieties... moreCreate a new OS is very complex, it can take years to create an stable OS and there is a lot of competition with Android and iOS in the market, Tizen OS is failing, Firefox OS failed, Ubuntu Touch failed, webOS failed, Bada failed. It is very risk (and stupid) to start a new mobile company with a new OS.

Ugly design imo.. Over hyped.
Bad 360 image quality camera. I would rather have samsung 360 when I need it than this to be modular.

Looking at this phone i was like, this will be fragile af, but reading through until "titanium frame", i take that back and considering titanium are not cheap and as easy to shape as aluminium so i guess the $700 price tag did went somewhere

Nice spec. Front just a little odd but OK. I prefer the U11 and what has gone into that baby.

Definitely looks better then the upcoming OnePlus 5 if the latest leaks are true + build quality seems much better (hence the price).
Design wise i still think S8 is the prettiest at this moment.

AnonD-227943, 30 May 2017Bleh, a dull "hip" phone for dull "hipsters" Realy innovat... moreSo you'll pay for that s8 or iPh of yours when it becomes bezelless? Even I don't get this trend but if it's the future I don't mind. Pretty good phone for price. Looks Definitely better thanwhat Google made for sure

I was so excited for this smartphone by Andy Rubin since the last time I read the news on GSMArena.
No 3.5 mm headphone jack, no buy.
Bye bye.

as expected from android co founder. but hardware varieties are enough, wish Rubin make new OS, as android is mature, not much innovation lately

Bleh, a dull "hip" phone for dull "hipsters"
Realy innovative, take everything useful out/off then try to sell as a "clean" design.
Wouldn't give you a third of the asking price.
I wonder how many will get bought, then stuck in a draw somewhere as folk realise how awful true bezeless designs are to.use day to day..
