If they listen to what customers want the price to be and there is no profit, they will of course not listen. They need profits for making better phones. Plus, I know OnePlus makes some of the cheap and best smartphones, but 500 a above is the norm now for flagships

I've moved away from Oneplus after having a One, X and 3 because of their lack of LTE bands, if you travel a lot globally having restricted bands is a real pain and it would be really easy for them to open more bands up. Good phones really need good connections.

People dont like removed features, android is not about restrictions, it is about functions and is likr swiss army knife. I am happy that 3.5 MM JACK IS NOT GOING ANYWHERE. I dont care about waterproof as nobody is going to drop electronics inside water. All phones are resistant enough from rain.
OnePlus is all about specifications/performance/quality/android fluidity to low price ratio. And that way this company should go. Though, price should start increasing as more and more people are interested in oneplus and they cant make phones that fast.

Hopefully we do not get anything silly like an IP rating, I don't swim with my phone nor drop it in the toilet. 3.5mm jack needs to fade away, real audiophiles do not listen to music from a Smartphone. A single USB Type C connector is fine, makes the phone more seamless. Quality metal build, thin and light, a bright screen, around $600 or less CDN and I am a happy camper

Can't wait to see. Dual camera and speakers, QHD screen, without missing 3.5mm port and some sort of IP rating. All under 500 pound would be awesome.
