02 June 2017
Once famous for incredible typing agility, BlackBerrys keyboards fell victim to the touchscreen renaissance.

Another poll with stupid options. "Are you interested in the KEYone" ? Well, the obvious answers would have been "yes" and "no". But this poll has one option for "I will buy it" and then three options for "no". Where is the "yes, I'm interested" obvious option ?

And with all this adversity, still 44% of poll participants say that they will buy it. This is saying a lot about the success of this phone.

I won't vote! But I'll buy one when the price has dropped. It's way too expensive for me right now

MdN8, 04 Jun 2017Most people never even tried a Qwerty keyboard on a phone. ... moremaybe, the guy was talking about hardware keyboard on "bb Keyone" not computer keyboard. obviously computer keyboard rules!
computer keyboard > touchscreen keyboard > mobile keyboard.

Anonymous, 04 Jun 2017How does hardware keyboard work greater than a touchscreen ... moreMost people never even tried a Qwerty keyboard on a phone. Straight from T9 to touch screen. And you have to choose between a keyboard and a bigger screen, and everybody wants a bigger screen. But if I have to type anything longer than a few lines of text, I'll wait until I'm on my computer. Don't get me wrong, I can click the smallest links on a touch screen with my thumb, I can play guitar really fast, but typing a message on a touch screen is, for me, just slow and annoying. There is no solution for this problem.

People voting on polls are just fake
Mainly they do it out of blind fanboyish stuff, but in the end, they might be owning a samsung j1 mini

The price is too high. $550 internationally, and worse when it's imported into Indonesia (which is btw one of the last bases of BB users) the price becomes close to equivalent of $900. Outrageous! Absolutely outrageous!!!

Far from good or great. Fine

Touchscreen renaissance? Renaissance means "revival". There was no truly significant use of touchscreens in mobile phones before the iPhone, and since then the popularity of touchscreens has never diminished, so there has been no touchscreen renaissance.

Would have been a decent option without the constant delays and all the manufacturing defects (NFC not working for Android Pay, red lines across the screen, swipe gestures on keyboard only working on half the keys) that the first shipment has.

Should have been released in the Spring and should have had higher quality control.

Now they want $550 USD for a phone with last year's specs. That would have been tolerable in Spring 2017, but it will be Autumn before widespread availability is possible and the defects are corrected.

I want physical QWERTY, but not like this.

                      BlackBerry is done.
