Ox, 03 Jun 2017Funny, They announce X Style nougat for more than 3 month a... moreMoto X Style is not the flagship. Moto X Force is.

Now talking about motorola... I bought the moto X play in the early November... It had got the marshmallow update so I updated it... And boom, I was fired with hell lot of problems... Firstly the installation took about 1 hour which is very slow... Then whenever I rebooted it used to start optimising apps... For around 20-30 reboots that lasted... Then one day when I dragged the notification panel and the data toggle there was a H written below 4G... It lasted for some days... A reboot even didn't fix it...

Once I was playing a video and I pressed the home button... The video was struck on the top and bottom it showed the home screen with the notification bar... The battery was also 3600 mah but power economy was poor... Waste of that 3600 mah... After recording 15-20 min video, the phone heated like a pan and started stuttering... The only good thing that was present on this phone was the speaker... Else, everything was bullshit...

Zoom, 03 Jun 2017Is that so ? Then where is the nougat update for oneplus x... moreNow you would say that even the OnePlus 2 didn't get nougat... Just to let you know that the drivers released by Qualcomm were so much unstable that if it was updated then it would again face hell lot of problems and heating issues... So oneplus just played safe...

Zoom, 03 Jun 2017Is that so ? Then where is the nougat update for oneplus x... moreIs there any device with the Snapdragon 801 and nougat update? Oneplus X had Snapdragon 801... Qualcomm has stopped supporting the 801amd therefore no drivers for the nougat update... No drivers then how can the firmware be created??

Aloof, 03 Jun 2017It might take weeks, just be patient. We've lived long enou... moreNah, go check X Style topics. No one cares anymore since all eyes are turned to Android O being introduced quite soon. Moto just screwed its customers by not providing timely updates.
It's a different thing to give an "outdated update" than simply an update in reasonable delays especially when you have quite a stock Android experience on a device. It's pure lazyness or lack of developping skills from the manufacturer.
Samsung which has the most customized Android among all regular manufactuers has always been "reasonable" in comparison.

This is motorola, even update late but always come with better offer, and since this is most likely last update 7.1.1 is the best choice

Speaking of Nougat, do you think low end chipsets like SnapDragon 410 will be supported by this OS?

Paired with 2GB RAM, will any phone with this hardware also receive it? Seems like it should, 'cause my phone went from Android 5.1.1 to Android 6.0.1 (and still stuck to it 'til this date) with March 1 2017 security update.

Is there any possibility? 'Cause the J5 2016 will probably get it as well, which shares the same exact hardware specifications as my Zenfone Max.

Any reply is highly appreciated. Thanks.
