Real life usage its crap ( beside battery life )
My LG G5 is way faster than Samsung S7 at about everything and in games its get almost twice the FPS.

Here a simple comparison.
Take a S7 or S7 edge under exynos.
and a LG G5 with SD 820.
Install lets say world of tank blitz on both device.
Make sure to turn all graphic option to max.
Play the game.
S7 is a lag festival with FPS dipping under 30 fps way too often.
LG G5 never go under 55 FPS and usually hold a steady 60 fps.
Sure your battery hold out longer but your phone is also much slower for gaming.
Even for others stuff ( go look at speed test on youtube )
So no thanks never an exynos for me.

All I hear is IPhone 7 is faster blah blah blah it maybe in Single Core but in multi it can beat.
Also that's why iPhone users need single core performance because there simple just like there IPhones and just need it to play games.
Where as multi core users require there extra performance for multi tasking and using there creativeness.
It's funny how people still mention touchwiz lag it's bizarre really because ever since owning Note 2 and other devices I have never experienced this at all?
The only thing I would agree on is the bloatware on Samsung phones, But that's easily removed and stripped down unlike IPhones with there preinstalled stuff which isnt easy to remove unless you want to invalidate your warranty by jail breaking.

I've been holding out to buy Note 8 for a year. been comparing iphone w/ S8+ business applications. I hope note 8 has an immediate transition for signing business documents on pdf without having to pay for adobe app or transition through some other app.. I'm excited about Note 8 rollout

If this would be the first samsung phone without the bloatware and touchwiz, i'd buy it in a heartbeat. Never bought a sammy since S3.

I have every iPhone since the 3GS.. finally i bought the Samsung S8 plus because the device is so beautiful. Pleasantly surprised that not only id's the screen the best I've ever seen - the software is genuinely impressive. Split screen camera widgets.. it finally feels like a new phone and a genuine upgrade. I also love being able to watch downloaded movies with ease.
For me also, evertyime i bought a new iphone it would just feel the same. I have every apple device you can think of - AW1 and 2, imac macbook pro ipad ipod.. these competitors are very good now.
