Can blackberry make the keyboard design and dual sim connectivity its niche, it will sell more than anyone else ...... especially with its data security in place. people are tired of carrying multiple devices, samsung had got this right and you need to compete

I like physical keyboard. But, the features which I need are not there in KeyOne. For example, it doesn't have dual sim connectivity and RAM is a mediocre 3GB.

BB pricing structure has never been right, this will see a huge price cut very soon.

BB niche market is gone, why do you pay, more for goodwill when BB is not even available in most stores. 450$ bit n Dubai it's worth 550$ equivalent! Hardware old and outdated software needs more vanilla touch. 400$flat wud be considered!

I used a BlackBerry Bold 9000 briefly. I also used this local branded in the Philippines called a MyPhone QTV38. It had analog TV and the speaker was louder than the HTC One M7. Physical QWERTY gets annoying after awhile once you get used to touchscreen.

Keyone looks like the evolution of the 9000 and 9900 but physical QWERTY really isn't for me anymore. Maybe 8-10 years ago, it was still cool. Only physical buttons I prefer on gadgets is if deals with gaming.

                    BlackBerry KEYOne garners strong interest...

Until they realized that the screen is not even glued to the body.

Seriously, what a major blunder. Even a cheap xiaomi has better build quality nowadays. What were they thinking.

There is also a niche market for people who wish for things to remain the way they are. A device like the KeyOne won't reach BB's old popularity when they were on top, or even Apple's iPhone or Samsung's Galaxy line on their worst day, but it will sell and there will be a market for it. The era might be over, but that doesn't mean the product as a whole is.

I like that phone because it is nicely build (despite the touch screen came out in JerryRigEverything test) and it looks different in a good way. My only problem is it's 3 gig RAM, which is totally way too lower compare to it's price. But kudos to BlackBerry/ TCL team for its refreshing design. Hope next time they will do something more compelling than this.

Its a decent android device with a screen 0.2 inches smaller than an iphone 7, epic battery life, great camera and productivity features that aren't available on other phones. Eg 53 programmable shortcuts that can perform tasks within apps after only a single touch and a universal inbox.

Also has a superior viewing area than all touches (while typing) and is the only serious android option for those who want a qwerty.

Outperforms pretty much any all touch in a drop test and tcl have just said they'll put more adhesive behind the display.

My keyone is rock solid, i'm more concerned about how easy it is to buy and replace a display than I am about it popping off in a bend test. Plastic keyboard isn't as rigid as glass, but it bounces better.

AnonD-234961, 11 Jun 2017How many phones have you really bent in your life ? :)No need to bend it. A guy apparently dropped it on his cars console and it came off. I really wanted to buy this phone but it looks like ill have to skip. Maybe ill buy one when it has flopped and the prices drop to half of what it is now.
