Apple also supports their hardware with software updates far longer than most other manufacturers. Your 'planned obsolescence' claim does not stand up to scrutiny.

I wish Apple make is flat at 9.1 or 10mm thick and at least a 6.8" screen. Basically just scale up the iPhone 8 into 8+

If the measurements from the video are right and the screen covers all the front area(except middle cutout), then the screen of iPhone 8 will be 6.2"(15.748 cm) in diagonal with a aspect ratio of 18:9, exactly as S8+. Its undoubtedly fake, totally. All we know is that the design and size will change, as is the norm with iphones model number increments. I hope its smaller than i7, since we have 8 Plus for those who want bigger, the phablet users are covered then.

love this design and i always loved apple product designs but i m not fan of an sandwich glass and metal body i mean they do look premium and cool in the expense of fragility,if it fall from 2mtr height on a concrete surface then there is 50% chance of glass crack like (spider web) so i prefer metal dent or scar instead of broken glass.

So the iPhone 8 will be wider? That's not good. iphone 7 size is great at 67mm. I actually would like 64 mm if possible because when you add a case, it becomes thicker. They don't need to be that long also.

Damn, iPhone 8 is a beautiful phone, I like the front with full display coverage, the only problem will be with videos with that middle cutout, but if the screen is a bit wider than normal(like S8, G6) and the screen without the cutout area is 16:9 then it can just disable the pixels in the sides of the cutout. Talking about that cutout, it resembles somehow Essential PH-1, but here it's much bigger and impossible to just forget about it, like in Essential's case.

They could use the extra space for removable backplate and battery.
...Oh wait, then they couldn't as easy cheat the customers by planned obsolescence - so that is not going to happen...
