30 June 2017
The handset will basically be a smaller, lower-end version of the G6.

Good because Snapdragon 821 chipset already belongs to mid-range devices

0.3", although not significant, will make a big difference in handling. Check the Z3 compact 4.6 vs they Z3 5", for example.
Also, if the screen to body ratio remain slightly under 80, then they are slimming the Bezels a bit.

I really hope they will use the SD660 or the SD630

            I'll consider getting one if/when it's under $300.

noooo, it comes without a wide angle!! So disappointing! I was really waiting for this g6 mini version but now it's no use buying it((

Quite interesting. But hopefully at least the G6 didn't opted for the SD835, but instead for the SD821. At least this Q6 smaller size, will not decrease it even more. And so hopefully it will include the SD821 as well.

What about the whole G6 alphabet they patented months ago?

Some of you may know that, last year, LG released a handset called the G5 SE . It features a Snapdragon 652 chipset. This news article reminded me of said model.
