Nika84748, 05 Jul 2017What?? And i just recently buy redmi note 4 4/64 T.TSame here! I bought my Redmi Note 4 3/32 a month ago
Considering the already good performance and great battery life, plus the chipset having the same 14nm process as the snapdragon 630 & 660, I'm pretty happy with my Redmi Note 4 and I don't mine using it for a year or more!

AceShot, 04 Jul 2017Guys, can you notice the difference between 625/630 and 650... more660 is more powerful on paper than 660. You might not notice it with day to day basic tasks but at least it is more power efficient.

".The battery is slightly smaller than on the Redmi Note 4 – 3,790mAh, down from 4,100mA. A sacrifice made to get the phone down to 7.5mm thickness..."
What's with these anorectic idiots? Do we really mind that extra mm.? Is that how they are gonna win us over? With LESS stamina... great move, idiots.

Fingers crossed for SD 660, and I hope they keep the FP on the back of the phone, though that would be the end of the world.

AceShot, 04 Jul 2017That's due to poor game optimazation, not because of lack o... moreThe adreno 530 does have some guts, I'm kind of surprised with the lack of visually pleasing games around, most if not all of the ones which run on the shield should run perfectly fine on Snapdragon or Exynos processors, it may require some different setups for compiling depending on the engine, but they're all perfectly capable of running on non tegra devices, you can actually get Doom and HL2 and a few others to run using GLTools on the S820 for instance and it outperforms the K1, and it's a shame cause I'd love playing some of these games on my phone, but I'm not allowed by default cause of Nvidia with their exclusivity bullwank. I personally wanted to see what the 530 was capable of, so I've compiled my own projects I've made in UE4 along with models I've made with PBR materials, even the UE4 demos, some of the demos caused lag but that was without making any changes to make it a bit more suitable for mobile, but the point was to see what it could handle in comparsion to my computer, obviously performance couldn't compare to a high end rig, but it really does show what these mobile processors are capable of, and it makes you wonder why there's not a great deal of visually impressive games out there for mobile. I understand having to cater to the lowest common denominator, but options can be implemented, and with an engine like UE4, even some of my projects have run decently on my HTC One M7.

AceShot, 04 Jul 2017That's due to poor game optimazation, not because of lack o... moreYou were stating that there are no noticeble differences, and now you changed the subject to optimisation.
We don't give a shit of how is optimised. The important thing is the fact that there are huge noticeble differences between s820 and s650 and s625 in many games.

They should keep it at traditional 4100mah or even higher. I wouldn't mind if it feels heavy or thick, it won't cause bone problems anyway. What matters in a Redmi phone is performance, battery, and price. Would be better if they also improve camera too, though we shouldn't expect too much at this department.

Those gpu's are more powerfull than what PS2 can show and there are still PS2 games that look much better than android games. I have done research and found out most top games don't need anything more than Adreno 505 on 720p screen or Mali 860MP2 on 720p and more ram than 2GB on device.

Even with Snapdragon 820, it suffers on newer games like Dinasty Warriors or even Skullgirls.
On Snapdragon 650 it starts to lag a little, just like Helio X20.
The 625 and Helio P20 SUFFERS on those games.
And that's only on the games from this year...
