Telstra isn't the only Network supporting HSDPA, that's a lie.

Vodafone - HSDPA
Three (Hutch) - HSDPA
Optus - coming soon

Telstra is the only one to operate HSDPA on the 850Mhz frequency though.

N95 will support multiple frequencies I believe (it must) as the only other 850Mhz HSDPA network exists in the US (Cingular).

i think its an ultimate phone. but i dont really understand with people who buy this phone. i bet the price will kill my wallet. i think with money that we buy for this phone, you can buy another gadget and save your money for your future....i prefer to buy notebook than this phone...

nope... this handset will be on all AU networks...

also... demo models usually have an earlier firmware revision... hence the issues you have had with it...

the final firmware release is very stable...

Glad it released at last, but lets wait to see how it sells an i am sure Nokia will be keeping a close eye on its demand as paying £500 for a mobile is alot of money,an if you have to pay to use the GPRS feature its more on the price,i would love to have one but i will not be paying that much for a mobile at all, some operators at first will be demanding top price but if it fails the price will be reduce quickly to get more people to sign up for the N95

come on guys ... you can't expect nokia or any company to perform miracles ... there is no perfect phone... true the N series are known to be buggy but thats the price to pay if you want cool stuffs, in this case the N95 dual slide, 5 mpx camera, 1.6 million colors, GPS ... and much more

oh really?? this phone was even featured on Korina Sanchez'Rated K. everybody in the philippines is been talking about this phone, if you go to greenhils, you will know how many people been asking for this one.
and don't compare the price of SE P990 to N95, obviously N95 has higher price coz it has much more & updated features than YOUR flopped, outdated and buggy P990.

I work for a mobile company in Aust. and we have had a demo model of the N95 for 3.5 weeks now. We had it working for a total of 5 hours, then it froze, each time we pull the battery out and restart. it would work for a while then the same thing would happen!!!!!! Once a software upgrade had been done it was fine for 2 whole days !! Unfortunately the same problems started to occur once again!!~! wouldn't recomend this phone, waited long enough to come out now wish it hadn't!!!

i should think that in philippines nobody except the rich kids and non professional consumers will buy N95. the price is tad too higher than the P900 in it's time before. if nokia wants good sales then stop making ultimate phones for gods sake it will just kill it's revenue as if most consumers will not be able to afford it. ah no i forgot n-series performance sucks all the time here so the users are forced to send it for service in which nokia takes advantage the most for additional payment after having a nokia quality. thats the nokia way imo. hope nokia listens to all complains and learns also.

I heard Optus in Australia would not be stocking the N95 because of too many software problems.

                                    Australia:

Stores in Australia (eg www.ow.com.au) are now taking pre-orders for the N95. Expect it to arrive 2nd week of April. To buy outright will cost around AU$1100, however both Optus and 3 have said they will offer it on a plan at a price...yet to be determined, and depends on the plan.
