Should the price rise beyond even madness or it turns out to be unsuitable for my needs then I will cancel.
Not surprised people haven't heard of Red. They are a niche digital cinema company, making high-end kit for pro cinematographers. This is probably the cheapest stand-alone kit they make.

And guess what? There will be near to no "holographic" content compatible. This gimmick won't work. Let the N3DS handle your real 3D needs for 6-12x less and with a much broader range of content ALREADY available.

do you remember red 4k laser projector few years ago
to remind you it was delayed then delayed someone claimed they maybe saw it working once delayed few more times aaaand *pufff* vapour :)
thats a lot of courage from them
at least they can give the basic specs like soc ram camera etc.
at the moment you can be paying 1200 for snapdragon 210 with 1gb ram and 2mpx fixed focus camera and maybe a fancy 480p display
i feel sorry for the guy above he just wasted 1200 on his pre order
i hope atleast they refund you after 2years when you dont receive your order

This... moreBut did you need glasses to see it or did images seemed holographic? Yes and yes (I had it and it was wild thing - for a while, until it didnt go old ;) ). Red havent explained what it will be so I presume that HTC did it first.
I am sure that it will be more advanced but only thing I say is that someone did it before...just that ;)
