I had 2 devices with AMOLED screens dating back to 2012 ,
I then bought a third device with AMOLED screen on a different brand ,
I then bought a device with an ips lcd , and I could not wait too get back to a device with an AMOLED screen ......... Which I now have .
I might add I still have my first AMOLED screened device which after all these years does a bit of burn in on the notification bar , but it is still perfectly legible and aside from that works fine without a single dead pixel .
Ips does the job , but crappy viewing angles , screen bleed from day one , often low lux rating , personally I would not give you two Bob for an ips screen .

Hopefully they do always on display like Samsung - then it could be a great alternative to the Notes (minus the stylus, curved edges and Samsung Pay)

Like whop cares. Lose the one thing that made it truly special, infinite autonomy + 1 minute charge time.
No way am I going back to charger and/or worrying about battery , that's so 10 years ago...
1 giant spite back 10 minor ones forwards ... Bleh

It is worse, because it has worse camera, glass back, not standard screen aspect ratio, no bezels (bezels are useful to protect the screen and avoid accidental touch from your palm), OLED screen (OLED is the worst screen, because it burns in). V30 will be a Samsung and iPhone clone, in other words a junk. But unfortunately you are right. The worse is always more popular. Majority of people have no common sense and never appreciate the good.

Keep the secondary display and it would sell a lot more I have been waiting for this phone for two years. I still have my V10 and love the secondary display.

I would also like to see less bloat and higher quality software that doesn't slow down over time. I have had my V20 since launch and there is a definite performance decrease.

finaly, oled on LG high end device. i love oled screens and i couldnt buy LGs since they had none... now that V power with oled will be awesome! i hope they solved the bootloop issue that plagues their phones... the reason i didnt buy lg g4 or V10, but they almost got me.

So,seems like LG also joined the stupid trend,to get rid of the removable battery.Great...Next step will be the curved display...The V-series was a power user phones,but looks like,not anymore...The most important is to follow the trend,and copying whatever Apple,or Samsung does.Even,if its gonna make the phone less useful.No problem.Just follow the trend,and copy the BIG PLAYERS.Good luck,LG.You gonna fail.

I can't wait LG V30 to go on sale, so the V20 gets cheapear, so I can only afford the V10.
