That's the end of TouchPal then. A decent keyboard with a third rate business model, when will these stupid companies learn that nobody wants ads, needs ads and will alwasy ignore ads?
Launching an ad-infested keyboard in a market where there are plenty of ad-free alternatives, for free, is just stupid. TouchPal must be sharing the same brain cell as Photo Bucket.

The best thing about root is that you can debloat the rom and change the system apps with your own. On my Sony I've deleted about 1.1Gb out of 2Gb of system apps.
My Z is flying.
Ps you don't need to unlock the bootloader to root your phone. Do a research before!
All it takes is to use your brain..

Users can also uninstall updates to the app, which will revert them to the version HTC included.

Come on! Disable HTC Keyboard and install Google Keyboard. Since I use HTC 10 since 7 month ago, I only use Google Keyboard which is superb, lot of features too. Problem solved! 1 more things, HTC device is amazing..

Speeding, 17 Jul 2017Help This Company...Everyone copies my posts. Been saying that for awhile now. On YouTube, when I typed Nick Wright as Nick Wrong because of his love affair with LeBron James, everyone copied that too.
But I don't mind. Spread my words! HTC sucks. Content using LG because Life's Good! And I like Sony as well because my PS Vita slim is a great companion device and the best handheld ever made.

Try this way to get rid of the ads: Under touchpal settings, go to General settings, scroll down to the bottom and untick the "keyboard recommend" at the advance section.

This is nothing that can't be fixed. Not much of an issue. Easy to fix than say a bending phone, shattering screen, reddish tint or even a jelly effect. Htc is doing great and I fully support them. BTW I love both htc and Sony phones.

It literally ... moreYou are experience from old versions and that is Xperia keyboard. The XZ XA already use the Swiftkey keyboard to solve all the problem you said.
Of course, if you don't like the keyboard you can get from the playstore, because you're using a smartphone.
