salman, 10 May 2011i think by nokia and windows merge nokia will share its ovi... morethey cant merge the apps together they are both written in totally different programming languages, Nokia apps are written in Java & Windows Phone 7 is written in C#. Also the button layouts and controls in each interface is different. If anything all nokia apps would have to be recreated for windows phone 7 if this was to happen, I can only see them taking their most popular apps and working on them ones

I got to play with his for a couple of hours and there is no comparison to what the 'driod does'. Good free aps are a non issue in the Android Marketplace, and hard to come by on WP7. The customization level is unmatched and what hasn't been already said about the display? I thought WP7 was going to be more, but it doesn't seem to be the case.

MJ, 09 May 2011you definitely haven't try any WP7, its not slow at all.WP7 tricks you with all those transition animations. Takes ages to do anything, you gotta wait for the menu to flip away, then wait for the next screen to flip in.

Looks like the Nokia alliance is bearing fruit.

One thing I think we should remember is that it's not as though Android updates don't take this long to release - we just hear about them a lot closer to their actual release date, so it seems faster.

So in reality it will probably just be Ovi maps by another name, which is no bad thing IMO.
