AnonD-40, 09 May 2011I am so happy with this turn-by-turn satellite navigation f... moreI think you miss that the navigation they use in bing is from nokia & nokia is getting compensated for them using it... thats nice extra profit for nokia. nokia doesnt need to worry if samsung, htc etc. are using WP7 as they can easily compete on hardware quality & cost leadership... so no problem with other companies that compete within the ecosystem ... the only risk nokia has if others don´t switch to WP7

I have a Samsung Omnia 7, but sadly here in Brazil with almost 200 million population, there are only exactly a total of 132 games&applications available in Windows Marketplace as of today, that's so miserable of Windows. Good thing I have Galaxy S and iPhone 4 to lighten me up.

AnonD-40, 09 May 2011I am so happy with this turn-by-turn satellite navigation f... morelol once Nokia and Microsoft merge, it is Nokia that will be ENTIRELY calling the shots! For example, they r they only ones who hav a right to modify the interface. Big and Ovi Maps wil b intergrated, so wil b the app stores etc. WP7 is at Nokia's mercy, like it or not!

Why don't they get the basics right and bring in things like bluetooth file transfer, a proper file system and micro SD support?

I am using HTC 7 mozart for a month now and absolutely love this phone.
Only negative part is no market place available in india so not able to get any apps/games in my phone.
also the missing functions like multitasking and flash support will be covered by next update (hopefully very soon).

Really looking forward to upgrade my phone with next update.

Do anyone know how to get marketplace working in india? if yes, pls pls pls let me know.

I am so happy with this turn-by-turn satellite navigation feature using Bing Maps. That will make Nokia's OVI Maps obsolete and will take out Nokia's differentiation feature against HTC, Samsung, and LG out of the equation. Good move here by MS.

Nokia's WP devices will be DOA and it won't be able to differentiate itself against the competition. Thank you MS! =D

Haha those "function" android already got it. Windows really lagging behind. Nokia will be going down with Windows phone.

wtf..what is new here? My old Omnia with WM 6.1 can do turn-by-turn SatNav + barcode and image scanning too (it can do copy-paste out of the box and Multitasking too, not like WM7). Go home WM 7. I am switching to Android with SGS II.

Dont know what the negative comments are banging on about. I use most mobile OS everyday as I have to sell them.....WP7 is by far the fastest not to mention the sleakest. With the next update all features on iOS and Android are pretty much covered. iOS has not had any innovation since it was originally released and Android is only so popular because the manufacturers can use it free.

I always thought that WP7 had a lot of potential and they are gradually making enough progress to make it comparable with the current top dogs (iOS and Android.)

There is only one thing that will stop me from buying one regardless of how good the OS gets and that's the tiles. I prefer to have a home screen with a customizable back ground and an application menu with files and folders, this is just my personal preference and I don't expect everyone to agree with me.

My only hope is that Nokia release a WP7/WP8 phone that is fully customizable then I will definitely get one. Good luck to Microsoft hope to see more from them.
