But different companies have different bloatware, Lineage has none, so experience might vary a lot because of that. In my case, Lineage is much faster than original MIUI, which itself in not a slow OS.

I am so conflicted now. I am currently on an imported LG G Pro 2, which is an absolutely wonderful phone. Rooted and with KitKat it is simply fabulous. The screen is big at 5.9 inches but the Snapdragon 800 speed is now becoming an issue.
I care about a massive bright screen and I run it at 100% brightness at all times because I have 3 spare batteries on me.
The logical upgrade is to lgV20 which has IR and swappable battery.
I wonder if I should wait until there are power cases with a battery in them and I can use them like that .
I have to say that the IR blaster only works with the LG app which doesn't have all the TVs etc out there. You can't use peel remote.
Nevertheless having no glass to crack might sway me, but as I am a speed freak I might feel Snapdragon 820 is not fast enough in time
The smaller screen will be very hard to swallow
Anyone upgraded from Snapdragon 800 to 820 to 830 who cares to comment about speed in heavy apps like Google maps and multitasking?

Phone looks are for marketing, coz once you have glass, you put a case on it. I put it on my V20, because I read camera glass breaks. What I dislike the most about V20 design are bezels. Not a biggie, tho.

You can say, it charges fast, that's true, but only when your not using it. While I play a game it charges very slow, like 1-2% per hour. That's all right too, once you have spare. My biggest minuses is avarage sunlight brightness and slower than Samsung camera. If V20 has 7+ SOT that would be a yes, but I doubt.

lg v20 is the most complete phone ever... take the sd820 away if want to talk only about power...
but has all you need from a phone and even more than you could use...I was amazed realizing that
a phone reviewer on youtube used for recording another device reviews , im sure no one could tell if it was from a professional camera or a smartphone with sharp image and clear sound while recording ...

Anonymous, 17 Jul 2017You don't like the V20?i like V20 front, not so much the back...is metal like i like but i love much more my V10 than V20: that camera hump is so ugly, i like flush back's.
Only thing i wish my V10 have is the same front design of V20...the back is more beautiful on V10 for sure.
and if i need to update for one phone for sure maybe it will be the V20...or a Mate 9.

This is definitely a good news, that it will come to Europe. What's more, this time we'll have a better comparison between the V30 & Note 8 than we had between the S8 (duo) & the G6. Obviously looking forward.

The V20 is actually a very nice phone, I kind of dig it, although I don't like LG smartphones most of the time. Hopefully they won't remove the second screen, and hopefully they will be smart this time and sell this device in Europe.

LG V series lost a big piece of things people want in flagship's: IR Blaster, removable battery...
Now we will have the same stupid glass fragile design like sammycrappy phones....
meh, i just keep my V10 until i die...or it dies first than me (wich i dont belive trough)
