Absolutely possible.. can experience this on your own.. Take a woofer(should be disconnected from all sources of power), big woofer.. touch both of its wires to your tongue.. push the cone.. you feel the tingling/salty sensation at your tongue while pushing the cone, caused by DC produced at electromagnetic core of the woofer.. as simple as that.. i did that years ago as a student.. and confident that it still works.. lol..

Anonymous, 11 May 2011if so why you waste space on such things? Work more!you do realise its not the writers of this artical who wasted their time making the device. they simply stated facts so people can understand the concept and how rediculour it is.

what if an sound amplifier was used im not that much in phyisics but i know that a sound amplifier can apmlify the input sound and output a louder sound , by the way all that can be done internaly no need to hear the real sound! i think it is a creative idea .

that would be very deliberating.. when you lose your power at a crucial moment and you get really mad, just yell at your phone and it recharges.. you feel good cause you get it out of your system plus you recharge your phone... awsome!!.. I bet public charging would be banned in many countries... XD

@rainai
Yes actually I was referring to this.
Wow,i didn't think anybody attempted this before, and to be honest it came to me last night while I was posting so I decided to add it :)
Well I guess that's so much for my patent rights , as now I'll have to worry about apple suing me lol.
Also
Somebody else mentioned a samsung with a solar back panel, think about it, it won't be very useful cause your gonna be covering the back panel with your hands very often, right?
Cheers guys

Finally, a sample of responsible journalism, just when I thought that having your brain removed was a professional requirement in the branch.
Bravo GSMArena! I tip my virtual hat to you guys.
Critical thinking (or indeed rational thinking at all) is unfortunately in short supply these days, nicely illustrated by the sheer amount of successful quackery and ***-phile attitude in the world. The kind of self-delusional wishful thinking demonstrated on this very comment section just makes me sad; it is what happens when lack of understanding and knowledge effectively equates science to magic for many people. That's what you get when people stop being able to tell the difference between fantasy - where just reversing a tachyon beam polarity always solves everything - and the real world...
