I have the A5, and I'm disappointed of the support and that they've only updated the icons with the Marshmallow OTA. I rely on Good Lock to fix that partially. And in my country, it was released with Lollipop, so it should get Nougat. And also because many SD410 devices with inferior internals are supposed to get N officially. (Tab A8, J5 2015, G4 Play...)

Argh, why so much love only to keep us from having some Nougat treats?

The Note 4. Even it's creator acknowledge it's the best in the series with monthly patches always bringing along optimization and the monthly security patch.

My Note 4 Duos still haven't got the update. I wonder if they will still provide this security update for the three years old device. Still works perfect for me, except I cannot configure two different users like the SONY Xperia Dual SIM phones...

AnonD-418798, 22 Jul 2017I will never agree that.. Note 4/note edge battery broke ... moreNever had so much as a hiccup with my Note 4 and Note Edge. It's been nearly three years since my acquiring them; granted, since I used both in-tandem the wear and tear would be less. I have two spare batteries for each even as I rarely use them as I did in 2014-2016. I still have both Notes within reach and regularly maintain the batteries. Neither device has ever shown a tendency to overheat nor lock-up. Both Notes 4 and Edge can also handle a 256 gigabyte micro SD card for storage and recording directly to the card. I'd be loathe to part with either phone since I have every cellphone/smartphone dating back to my first flip phone in May of 2000.

Anonymous, 22 Jul 2017Glad to see support for note 4Yes, it's still a strong performer since the Marshmallow update gave it new/extended life. I use my Note 4 as a backup (notably!) and when I felt that my S7 Edge's (last year's wonder device) battery wasn't lasting long enough.

I wonder why samsung keep the Lollipop UI even now it is already Marshmallow in Note4.

AnonD-418798, 22 Jul 2017I will never agree that.. Note 4/note edge battery broke ... moreIdk what happened to that but if it was an issue, then it should've been a big news like the Note 7's fiasco, otherwise you and the other people may just got a defective unit and needs a replacement unit

Note 3 was a great Note of its time, but the Note 4 is still the greatest one ever made - that phone literally had no flaw and is well ahead of its time.
2K is currently the mainstream for flagships, and the Note 4 even has a sharper display than the new 2017 flagship OnePlus 5.

Note 4/note edge battery broke really fast
every note 4/edge user around me faced the very same problem. Our battery percentage always drop from 10-50% directly to 0%.
The problem is fixed when we changed into brand new original battery, but same disease come again in few mext months.
Exclude the note 7, I believe note 3 is the best note ever.

Note 4, the last true great Galaxy Note phone.
FE is meh, Note 8 is still to be known.

At last and at least they are still releasing security update to my lovely Note 4. Thank you Samsung.

Well done for the overall then.
