12 May, 2011
It's been just a few days since the Samsung Galaxy S II hit the shelves and the first impressive and stable overclock is done. Speeding up its dual-core processor up to 1.5GHz will get you some serious...

HTC screens have the worst sunlight eligibility and small ROM. Very very disadvantageous.

You can talk about that when it comes out.

              SGSII has best hardware currently.

To be honest with you, if it were for advertisement then Nokia would have still been at the top! It s actually just 2 things that make an iPhone worth using: Cydia and cracked IPA's ... Android has nearly the same apps, but not all yet! Plus there is no Cydia or substitute for that when it comes to Android- correct me if I am wrong, but apple would have failed misserably if it weren't for Cydia and that's the sole reason why people will continue to buy iDevices... Because whether you have used the iPhone 2g or the 3G or the 3GS or the iPhone 4 or the iPad/pod, it's all the exact something with either a faster processor or a gyro sensor

AnonD-5197, 13 May 2011If you knew even a little bit about how corporates work, yo... moreWhat kind of statement is "you cannot compare Apple iPhone with any other phone model, and that's because Apple makes only one phone". Of course you can compare iPhone to any other phones. iPhone is a smartphone in a competitive market with parts similar to other smartphones in the market. And everyone should agree that iPhones DO NOT have top of the line hardware.

You also said "they are focusing on one target only" which I assume you mean they are focusing on improving one product. They work on one product at a time trying to target large number of consumers as possible and this works wonders for generating revenue. Now, large target means you are targeting the average people who don't really need top of the line devices. No matter how "focused" Apple engineers are, they will NEVER release "TOP OF THE LINE" mobile device because it wouldn't generate as much revenue as a device that targets everyone.

Samsung, LG, HTC, SE, Nokia etc, these companies have a phone for each target level. Hence there are low range models, mid range models, and high end models. Companies with specific targets are more likely to "show better results" when it comes to producing high end devices. Everyone should agree that SGSII has the best hardware on the market currently and this is because Samsung is targeting the people who want the best of the best.

This is why Apple is able to produce a decent device (not top of the line), and not worry about it; because they advertise so well and they target all the average joes. But bottom line is, Apple does not have better results and they will not have better results in developing "top of the line devices" because they don't specifically target the people who wants "top of the line device".
