i see you love the 5700 and you are a walkman hater. but why hate such a product? does walkmans did something bad to you? i mean walkmans are everywhere in any shape and any size and different prices with similar features why saying w880 is overpriced? while w880 is not the 5700's competitor imho. and don't get me wrong for being a fan. the music brands war is only within those companies, why considering yourself as involved with that competition? get a life boy both brands are good but i think there's no reason to continue the SE-nokia fan war, is there? were all consumers in this tech world and we want good products so we choose the right one for us, bear in mind that not all people have same insentives in choosing their suitable product, so don't contradict other's choice just because your satisfaction aren't same with others. all of us consumers have different tastes, otherwise the world will become boring for being same,same and always the same. hope you get my point kabayan:)

about the microSD they'll place in its package (yeah, market-dependent), what do you think will be the capacity? hope they'll provide generously (1gb is fine).
and they say na mahirap daw hanapin dito sa metro ung 2gb microSD (just in case i have plans to purchase separately). a nokia personnel told me na mahirap daw makakuha ng stock.
and lastly, about the thing na kaya daw ng 2gb na mag-store ng up to 1500 songs, pano ba maa-achieve un? may technique ba dun? won't the music/sound quality be affected?
and about the links you mentioned, bad-trip! kasi i'm a tl in a call center pero some sites are blocked! anyway, i'll just drop by at netopia! salamat, dude!

i think 5700 is almost perfect [at least for me] if it only had an auto focus camera at 2mpx or 3mpx without AF, but its ok considering all its features [a big plus is d newer OS 9.2!] and of course BT stereo, QVGA vid recording, cam flash, 3G and a lot more! no, it wil not hav d SMS lag [like earlier stocks of 3250, N73 and other 9.1 OS symbian, though installing SMS accelerator wil solve dat issue..]. d dedicated audio chip dey r saying i think dey placed d same chip used in N91 to this baby too! coz apparently, nokia is cooking d replacement for their flagship music phone later this year with better audio chip for Nseries... basta ask for me, 5700 is d phone for me! =)

i know you're using a 3250. im thinking that u'l also opt to a 5700. so what d'ya think? will it experience the same sms lags the 3250 had earlier on its' release?
and what do they mean by audio chip? do u know when is it going to be here in manila? what's the inbox external memory capacity? 1gb? 2gb? right now i'm about to replace my 6270 with either an n73 m.e. or a 3250 (white). but when this cub came out, i've been salivating. :)
i mean, the stereo bluetooth, 3.5mm connector, qvga res, and the (what-do-they-call) speakers make this my preferred music phone. please respond. thanks and mabuhay!

nokia 5700's price is juz right for all its features, in other words its worth it. unlike d overly priced SE W880, at around $430, compared to 5700, u get a smaller screen, less internal memory, minus infrared port, camera flash, EDGE and FM stereo and of course an ancient video capture at only 176 x 144 vs 320 x 240 in 5700. now, dat's not complicated arithmetic, without a doubt, 5700 is a better deal than overpriced W880!

well everybody here talks about music and the phones that they want to use....in my opinion phone does not matter...all it matters is the hardware and the compatiablity of the software...well in my case i have been using N70 which is has got past a 1 year anniversary mark and still rocks like hell...a secret is that you do not inker with the phone too much....do not pur softwares without testing it a few time...if yu feel someting is wrong with that software then never make a mistake to install it again....my N70 has the sound quality better than the iPod...i have done the comparrision.....and i think N70 music quality is good...but i mean not with the default player of Nopkia but if you play with a software which i will not let it out here......1 GB is enough for me to listen to all the Iron Maidens and the Metallicas which i listen to very much and the G3'a instrumental....what i want to say is all the marketing gimmicks that the phone company gives is to fool the consumers......do not beileve in advertisement as it is just like an illusion..

not only the 6288 has terrible buttons i used the 6131 the buttoms sucks it's like it's gonna crack any minute and when you press it it's like going right and left it's not stable at all

The W850 is a great Phone, I love it, I have used the n70, n80, n90, 6233 (which buttons are terrible), I have had 1 SE walkman phone come into repairs since Ive been working. Where as we get about 2-3 Nokia Handsets per week at least that have come in for repairs. I have used Nokia, Moto's, LG, SE and In MY opinion (everyone has their own opinion, Some people like Nok's, Motos or whatever) SE walkman series are far more superior over the Nokia Series, I will always trust a reputable company as Sony when it comes to music over Nokia anyday. Again my opinion. The w850 feels good in the hand, Solid too, now the Nokia 6288 is one of the most handed in phones for repairs. Ah well everyone has their likes and dislikes.

5700 is one of d best phone in its price range! walkman phone gimmicks r nothing compared to it. new walkman phones like W888 and W880 does NOT have FM radio, how uncool is dat?! walkman phones without fm, give me a break! sucks BIG TIME! besides W888 and W880 r d same phones, only different casing and 3g support same with W660 and W610, different plastic case only! most of new SE phones have less features than d current ones, eeeww! and W850 hav many many complaints of its build quality which is very poor! surely made of cheap plastics! u'll see lots complaints here:

to the guy talking about W850 and said it's made from cheap meterials plz shut your mouth 'cause the w850 and all walkmans are made from high quality meterials you're not dealing with a crappy manufucturer it's a gigantic swedish-japaness company and they made only high quality products i bet in your whole life didn't touch an SE phone and you're talking about war is going and secert weapons what are you an ex-KGB member

This phone is great in many ways. It suits the taste of WE who use Nokia phones. N i dont think the twisting mechanical is bad, cuz I used a 3250 n i play with the twisting everyday n it didnt break or anything, perfectly working. Some of us tend 2 b very rough wit da phones, love ur phone ppl. N ppl, stop trying 2 compare how many phones SE or Nokia sold, it's not goin anywher. What matters is: DO YOU LIKE THE PHONE? DOES IT SUITS UR TASTE? U dont like it than let it b, stop giving negative comments or degradng something u dont even know. SE n Nokia users, v r all educated ppl ok?

Guys have you ever handled w850i its horrible its feels like weak cheap plastic crap bottons are very horrible difficult even to type a number Nokia never designed such phone with weak crap plastic i dont think this phone will be crap like SE walkman (only name looks good) i never came across a nokia with uncomfortable keypads this phone will be definately a big hit and will destroy walkman cant say anything Nokia may launch another secret weapon to destroy SE
