Nokia N70 was world's most bought phone under a period, and Nokia N70 alone sold more than ALL SonyEricsson W-serie under the same period. I was quite surprized by this rapport, but nevertheless, it do not prove anything in terms of "better"...

6 millions only in N series... but the problem is: It exists about 6 millions of N series models... N70, N73, N90, N91, N80, NNNNN and N6,000,000, and I forgot the "music edition" to N series.

Only the K750 sells more than all N series, and the K800 sells 4.5 millions; the samsung D900 sells 4 millions.

3250 is more expensive than W810, but has worst camera, worst sound and the complex and laggy S60.
I hope that 5700 doesnt repeat the N73 dissaster... to all people whom buy the 5700: Good Luck with this B-R-I-C-K hehehehe

hey kenny, you're so sony ericsson freak!
your opinions are obviously biased. since you're disparaging nokia, you should not take time doing it here in gsmarena.com. if you care for sony ericsson only, then open web pages dedicated to sony ericsson, not nokia or any other mobile maker. i myself am using an n73 and w850 so don't think i'm one of those nokia fanboys you're pertaining to in your sick lamentation.

                      @PdDi

For your information nokia 3250 with higher price than most walkman phones has been sold in ~8 millions quantity, 5300 has been sold in 5 milloins quantity just during 1 quarter.
All walkman phones in sum since 2005 have been sold in 15 millions quantity. See the difference?
Nokia sold one phone model for 3 months in 5 millions quantity and SE sold all its orange phones combined for 2 years in 15 millions quantity. That's reality, but sure you can continue dream on, for fanatics SE is always #1 :)

do you think this phone will boost nokia's music express sales? well as far as i think it won't. the audio chip is used to attract more users because that audio chip is used on N91 to beat walkman phones sound quality. but the design is poor cheap and ugly. and i even doubt the twisting mechanism to be stable and durable. sorry for being harsh but non nokia users will find it a downer to their personality because of the cheap looks. don't wonder why motorola have 50,000,000 Razr V3 units sold even though it has no card slot and etc. if nokia make the 6300 to be in "XpressMusic" without that awful cheap looking red and white combo with twist hen it will be a best seller. honestly N91 has the potential to be best seller but the high price hindered people to choose them over the walkmans. walkmans have targeted low-to-high profiled music lovers who want music, style, compactness and quality in their music players. nokia can hardly offer that imo. that's why walkman become the best selling music solutions today and become an icon to music market. soory nokia fanboys

of course, d budget ones helped nokia to b on top, but u r forgetting how many units of N70 (which is not a budget phone) was sold! and if ur talkin bout 3000 series, like 3250, it's just tells enough how successful 3250 have been! hehehe, u can't deny it, u said it! and u must not cry, coz nokia makes different kinds of mobile phones for different market targets (beginner, advanced, fashionistas etc) dat's y nokia became d undisputed no. 1 brand for many years which ur beloved SE can only dream of.. W series only got better inbox earphones, dan xpressmusic ones but wen u plug in sennheiser dey hav same quality! i'll repeat, camera, music and ur so so SE UI is not d only consideration to b d best! most SE phones are crap, example, K750 joystick wil get jammed and will b unworkable for about 6 months max and d new W850 hav many complaints of d casing being easy to wear off [u can read in d forum] plus d white screen of death in some SE phones, yuck and d inability to input 2 mobile phone, 4 office nos under one name in every detail and u must name it viperkid office, viperkid office2 how redundant is dat, also i've experienced lots of dropped calls when i had k750. get a grip, besides ur not even brave enough to post ur name, haha! oh i almost forgot, hardcore big time SE fans like u perhaps just use ur mobiles for music and camera only, dat's y for u SE is d best, which in reality is not! y Samsung and Moto got better sales?! answer = they are better than Sony Ericsson. what more if u compare to nokia, SE = mobile JUNKy!

Your nokia has the first place because the budget and ugliest phones like 1000 series, 2000 and 3000 series. This is the main market of nokia, the budget segment, no more. While SE obtain good sales with mid and high range. This is the true. And this UGLY phone cant match the W series of SE in terms of sound quality, camera and UI. It will be the same case of 3250, a mediocre phone with mediocre functions, mediocre sound and mediocre camera!!

ps...when T39, first bluetooth phones launched. ppl were telling how silly is the ideal.. my first bluetooth headset was USD150.
much more sillier when james bond took off his shoe..pull out the antenna..and made a call...with the shoe. that era only cable phones were only available. i dun think w220 or F is silly.

maybe i got the info from here, gsmarena. ok, thnx for the info.
expensive phones dun really sell well. they are just flagship of the company image, just like automobile. Supra doesn't help toyota ...where else Corolla does. Let's just hang around watching people in the complexes and see wat type of phones they carry. mainly, are mid range type..or just hang out in phone shops..customers will try out latest expensive phones..and lastly settle for mid range set. the phones they carry will only last for about 3 to 6 months.. then will/might change to upgrade models.. the giants are very happy with this... example 5300>5700, w850>w880 all upgraded in less than 6 months.and moto has all the minor minor upgrading... starting from V3.... to K and Z series, flat keypads..then VK follows..then LG... so those fans are going hoo & waa...and bashing each other comments here or other forums. In Moto w22 and moto F postings ppl are laughing at those phones.. actually, moto is laughing to the bank with these models. with minimal cost to make, and they moto guys knew there is a big group who just need communication.

this is not a gd phone. the overall body design is not appreciable. features are not so very outstanding. only advancement is in camera and thje 3.5mm headjack. i presume camera is on d bottom . this dissaponts mainly. ity looks akward

                                      http://www.gartner.com/it/page.jsp?id=501734

d data in d given link, is a solid proof that good camera and music n a mobile phone is not d only basis for a great and excellent mobile phone nowadays. there are other considerations, of course! =)

                                      mobile market share in 2006

                                      (1) nokia = 34.8%
                                      (2) motorola = 21.1%

total crap... Why does Nokia always create different versions of the same phone.. What else is new? Same crappy Symbian OS, An average camera function, 3g and all the same stuff that we saw on other Nokia phones and last but not the least, the same twisty form factor we saw on 3250. I'm not excited!
