Yeah, I also hate the new aspect ratios, especially for gaming. 16x9 is the perfect ratio, why change it?

Since it's a full-screen display, I hope this time it would be more convenient to use with one hand :)

Honor will take up the slack of making budget phones.

It is definitely a good news for us tech enthusiasts and not, because basically everything (all points) Richard Yu (Huawei) said is absolutely positive: edge-to-edge screen, (rumored) Kirin 970, longer battery life, + quicker charging speed, and even better photographing than Apple's next iPhone (7s, 8). Okay, maybe hi is exaggerating a bit, and because the iPhones are not even launched, but at least it is positive as well, and because hi has high hopes for the (near future) upcoming Mate 10. What's more, regarding the low-end segment, among Lenovo and other Chinese companies, Xiaomi will take even more over than before/now.

I agree on this decision, just like other people have stated, you can just get a xiaomi low end/mid ranger and you will be fine.A redmi note 4X can go on as low as 165 euros(on my country, but you can get it on gearbest or other sites for low prices),and that is a killer price for what it delivers.

Simply put,Xiaomi is a VFM company, which focuses on good prices for good specs compared to the counterparts.I bought an Honor 8 last week and I love it,UI needs tweeking as you would imagine, but I prefer the upper mid rangers from Huawei anyway,it's low end smartphones where just too weak for the price.I like phones like the Honor 6x,so keep those phones going.
