The good thing from nokia is advertisement, they attract us well.when u buy it u will feel that u have been cheated
When u still feel symbian is great then u should try android or ios before u start ur trash talk here with ur great nokia
I believe that many ppl start their hp with nokia age to till they change it to other platform, so and again save ur breath for talking ur great nokia here.

I don't know why Nokia needs to be dragged into a LG's discussion, but OK.
I live in a country where the Nokia brand was the most desired brand a few years back (when there was no iPhone). Symbian as an idea of an OS is great. But iPhone/Android managed to overtake it in every aspect possible. It would be great if Symbian would be open source and the community devs would tweak it, but that didn't happen and it's now full of bugs and random restarts.
I must admit that this only applies to older Symbian phones (not Symbian³), because I don't know anyone that owns a N8. I had friends with various Nokia phones (N97, N97mini, 2x 5230, 2x N79,...) and they all said that they had at lest 3 freezes/reboots per week or something else was wrong with their phone. I now also have some friends with Android phones (Desire, SGS, SG551) and they said that they had no freezes/reboots or they had them once per 2 weeks. I know I should be promoting an EU brand phone, but sorry it just doesn't cut it. Nokia should get their act together a few years back, but didn't and now it's a little too late! :(

I think that the best midrange Android you can find right now is the HTC Gratia. It runs very smooth. Eventho it has only 600mhz. No lagg in any menu. No lagg while multitasking. It's a good value for money. I got a new one with 218 euros. In here you can even find the Acer Liquid MT with 270 euros. Hell of a better offer than Nokia C7. Has full flash support...

How can you then say that MOST androids are "just" mid-rangers. Even the lowly HTC Desire S runs faster than iphone 4, and it is not even a flagship of HTC yet (the Sensation is). And my lowly Samsung Galaxy Ace which costs just over $200, performs the SAME in speed, function, spec as the $900 iphone 3GS (which by the way, is now bargain-basement priced at $500).

Actually, if it werent for Android, we either "GO FOR BROKE" with the ultra-expensive iphone or nothing. Now, with Android, we got BETTER THAN the specs and speed of iphone, but for a LOWER price, with MORE options.

BROADEN YOUR MIND, Bro.. if Android is mid-range, then how do you classify Nokia?? no-range?? LOL

You should have gotten used to it now. Gingerbread is coming but you may have to wait another 6 months for it. It will be out just in time for the LG 2X's 1st birthday. Sounds good doesn't it?

why does it take LG soooo lonnggg to update, and fix their phones?? would it KILL them to move FASTER??

I mean, the optimus 2x has been here since dec 2010, and now its already 6 months later, and all they got to show was BUG SPRAY?? What the consumers REALLLY NEED is the Gingerbread update AND bug spray, with some video modifications too.

I would LOVE to buy the 2x, but seeing that their video is wonky, the system is still stuck on froyo 2.2 (while others are already on 2.3), and there are tons of bugs inside, I would just go off and maybe get either the Sensation or SGS 2. SGS 2 already got 2 bug patches and pretty stable, while Sensation seems a safe bet since HTC is always very prompt with their updates and bug fixes.

LG, WAKE UP!!! GET THE GINGERBREAD ON 2X ON-LINE ALREADY!!!

Compare N900 and new Symbian ^3 devices N900 wins with better cpu -> newer technology arm a 8 (600 mhz)then old arm 11 680mhz. And Sna francisco/blade is better then optimus one. In about 6 months from now there isn't going to be new symbina devices anymore. How now stands microsof will purchase Nokia mobile devisin. I want meego device from Nokia or Lg.

Customization, games and apps are useless when your phone is so slow and freezes. The Nokia C7 is still a better phone and it packs way more features at a price that can't be beat.

This is a good gesture by Lg, but my stance lie with the developers. It's a good thing to consider the complaints of users, but it also pays to be patient.
I mean, what's the point in releasing an update that's non-befitting to your brand?
