who in the right mind buys a phone for its material. i rather buy a diamond ring thats worth 1000 euros...at least that will retain its value

we all know theres Vertu is in market, well it is same as basic as 8800 series but still very expensive. It has the very basic feature even nokia supports for 150 sms in memory but vertu only 100. Vertu gives only 3h talk time but cost a hell amount of £££. Why don't you ppl shout for that vertu coz they kept the prices since vertu came in market. no offence nokia still rock, it has the most user friendly firmware with good austhestic and easy of use.
ppl come and bark what they want but you can't hide the truth.

I have the black sirocco, I do not understand those people who say that it is stupid to buy a phone for that price. I had almost every brand, and almost every kind of phone, also with very much functions. The more functions the phone has, the bigger it gets. The more cheapy the phone is, more likely that the phone is something you won't like. The sirocco is for me the only phone that has no stupid functions, looks good, is the perfect size, feels good, works fine. So if I have to pay little more money for a phone I like, so be it.

I think that phone is going to cause a lot of trouble i believe that it is going to be so expensive no body unless they spend over £150 a month will be able to have it foc.
is there a point? i would buy it to melt the gold down and sell it, no improvement on battery life and still no expandable memory, it is just an 8800 in a gold case

I guess the people from Nokia think this is luxurious or pretty but thats not right it is not a good looking phone, please NOkia keep doing your work if it is for design dont mess with motorola

this phone is to turn heads. not for camera. not for 3g or functionality. its for being at a club and some1 looks and sees a shiny phone. thats it.

If you thought this was bad, check out the Vertu phones...
They are seriously out of order, plus once again they don't even look nice, with no functionality.

i hate materialism too!!omg who really needs luxurious phones...if i were rich..id go for a phone with lots of functionality prolly like the N95...all these things are soo unneccessary unless some of the profit goes to NGO and to the poor

Its a nice stylish phone. The only thing i don't understand is why people posting comments saying that people who are going to buy this phone are selfish or stupid..and some guy talking about buying a .99 burger from mcdonalds instead of this phone???Its obvious that some people make more money then others, so why is that selfish if you like and can but this for yourself..And hows kids in Africa have ANYTHING to do with phones??? If you don't have enough money don't buy it, but why would you talk about oher people who have money and want to stay in style! NICE PHONE I LIKE IT!

Why like the Sirocco at all? It is an overpriced pile... What good can it do? People buy it JUST to look flashy, there is no other angle. Someone, please tell me another reason to buy this phone...

nokia wtf is wrong with u.......first motorola make a V3 D&G which is for cheap tacky ppl...(chavs) lol......now this 8800 sirocco 1 of my favourite designed phones...goes the same way..the CHav way lmao...neva new nokia would do this.....but they have......i prefer the original Black sirocco ......

Like I have already said I hate materialism, that includes "flash cars". What is the point. Wealth should be more evenly spread around the world. It annoys me that people like footballers make as much money as they do. Huge business hogging all the money. It's a joke.

How come ppl with this hand set are flashy or show off? Don't you think ppl with expensive cars are show off? People buy cars on credit and pay lease all there lifes why don't you ppl hate those, why should only a person having this fone should be hanged?
