AnonD-8386, 19 May 2011If nokia N9 cannot support full flash support 10.2, then no... moreWhat utter rubbish. The general public dont care if a smartphone has full flash or no flash at all! The iphone sells shedloads without it. Flash isnt as essential as Fandroids would have you believe, and if there was a huge demand for Flash video then surely there would be more apps for it?

One piece of advice to Nokia if they want the N9 to sell overwhelmingly well, that piece of advice is "Make it Affordable". Meego has a huge following, even Android users are intruiged with it. If you get this subsidized and make it affordable, it will sell great. There's already tons of support, development and apps for Meego, all thats left is for there to be a release date and an affordable pricepoint.

I hope this phone comes quickly... I need a new "Camera Phone" to be my one-in-all device.
Almost ordered a N8 until I started reading about "purple screen" problem in all recent N8 phones (did Nokia correct that, or get new screens in supply chain yet???)

on the first video look at duration 6:35 you will see the Task switcher clearly very different the N9 device where the Task switcher looks more like maemo in portrait orientation mode.

Just to prove the Meego skeptics that the N9 does have Meego. Look at this latest video of Anna on the X7 UI task switcher. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yxATjKxYKZ0&feature=related
Now look at this link. http://www.facebook.com/openmeego#!/photo.php?fbid=10150182389586356&set=a.10150182388931356.307732.310375241355&type=1&theater here you can see the Taskw switcher resembles nothing like Symbian 3 Anna
So they must be using the Symbian Iconography for Meego too. Blending it in with the Symbian/Meego/Qt eco system.

The official Meego Facebook page is updated showing the N9/N950 device. In the teaser ad the UI looks to have not just any Symbian flavoured elements but the new symbian Anna /Belle firmware update. Is this an attempt as pocketnow says "to create a tangible bridge between the two platforms" Don't forget the N900 maemo hildon desktop used symbian elements such as the symbian S60th theme & icon package!
This N9/N950 does sow a 12MP camera in the video, but instead of xenon flash it's dual LED which could be a bit of a dissapointment unless the camera is really modern & handles low light well with a large aperture & the LEDS are brighter than older LED's even so it's a smaller problem I guesse.
Can't wait to know what the other specs are & whether the specs for this device are correct in the Nokia rumour mill. Speculations running wild that it has a snapdragon cpu or Intel Atom. Whatever, this is a MeeGo device & this is only the beginning of something super high end I reckon from Nokia.
