Entering another country is always a pain to any business, laws are different, you need to get some basic structure there that understands that market and supports your operations, while you focus on growing somewhere else you are taking your eyes off the ball in your own domestic market, and the smartphone business is very *very* competitive (meaning that despite their successes in China, the slightest distraction may be very costly in that market).
I agree with you that they need to target the global market, but I also understand why they are careful and haven't yet.

This MIUI is pathetic always come with a lot of bugs. My Redmi Note 3 has become unstable after updafing MIUI 8.5.3.0. Its better to use custom ROM than this sucks MIUI

Why they not prefer global market first rather than china...we all know that global mean whole world or whole countries ...so ofcourse majority is global so they should launch first for global Nd after that they can launch for particular countries like China ..Nd another big doubt is why they prefer China first for launching of new devices Nd rom like miui9 etc.. is because of hometown ??but now India is one of the major market for xiaomi so they must launch their new devices in India as same as they do with China..

Just release Mi 6 kernel sources and give us official LOS, that will sell phones like hotcakes for pure Android lovers.
