Stock Rom is the best, I prefer performance over resource hungry animation, near useless feature & bloatwares.

google bought motorola to secure a lot of patents, so motorola never copy from nexus

Pure UI(former Vibe UI) is already near stock with additional feature like dual apps, app lock, secure zone etc which is not in pure stock android . pure android dont even have auto brightness toggle in notification panel. i am using k6 power. now lenovo mobiles will be similar to motorola. only hope is fast updates.

I could ho and say my redmi note 3 which has snapdragon 650 is just as snappy and smooth as my htc u11 which is near stock android and sd835.
Please dont make stipid comments just becoz u dislike or hate the brand.

Even though pretty close to stoc... moreI doubt that,since Sony skin is almost as light as pure android.Have bought that phone for my mother,and occasionaly take care for it... I am positive it has nothing to do with the OS version,but more with the super crappy and hot SD615.
P.S.main reason for buying that phone(besides waterproofing and few other things) was the gsmarena hyping the SoC as a very very good midrange.... which in real life turn out POS.And not just M4 but any other phone that using it,its laggy and hot as hell.

I have tried Sony, Xiaomi and Samsung phones. None of custom UIs is better than AOSP, including what is used by my current samsung s7.
