AnonD-345931, 05 Aug 2017Stock Android might be fast, but it has sh!t for features. ... moreTrue, stock android despite embedding more and more features "previously seen" on various brands is still insufficient.
I never liked stock android, because you have to go through many apps more or less ads-heavy (and not free of bugs with each update) to bring it to some satisfacting level features wise. And i have been around since Android Froyo.

Stock Android might be fast, but it has sh!t for features. More features is always better, provided you can turn them off if you like. We pay good money for smartphones. So don't give us just the Stock UI which we can just download off the internet. I can flash stock ndroid on my Samsung phones. But can't flash Touchwiz on the Pixel phones.

Why the hell are the Chinese into bloated skins? I'd be fine if they looked better than stock but they're just abysmal all of them!

Lenovo, do not drop these features
                      1) double tap to wake up screen,
                      2) alarm works even when phone is switched off
                      3) very accurate prediction sentencing

And if possible make your fans happy by:
                      1) Update phones released in 2016 with stock UI
                      2) Bring a new Phab plus phone with Gorrilla glass
                      3) Maintain the Phab plus aspect ratio ( do not follow the Samsung notes)

Guys from the "capitalistic" point of view Lenovo made a smart move!

                              Why?
Because with Android-O and the inclusion of project treble. All they would need to ship now is vendor specific code.

Which leads to. Less developing time per device required.
Less developing leads to less software engineering staff required.
Less software eng. means less money spending in the software engineering department.

The question is. Will other companies follow?
I hope ZTE will follow. Including ZTE Nubia.

                                      nice. we'll see.

I think any of part of the world would love near stock version as long as people know existence of nova or action launcher (and so on)
